There's no urgency in those other causes? Those are continually paraded by organizations dedicated to fighting those fights. We have PSA's about drinking and driving, the dangers of smoking, the dangers of texting and driving, etc. We make the folks who manufacture the causes pay for the bulk of those PSA's too. Can you light up in a restaurant now? What about at the airport, outside of designated smoking areas that are enclosed and separate from non-smokers? Who dictates whether or not you can do that?

what is/was the intent at the time those actions started in all you described? Public safety or the destruction of an economy and a president? It really goes to intent.

In about 5 minutes someone will say the COVID response was about public safety and I will say yes as a disguise to crush Trump with it. Ends justify the means.

You don't even have to try and prove this. All the Left is doing right now is blaming Trump for the people who have died, and the resulting voluntary shutdown of the economy. What would they have done to prevent the deaths while keeping the economy open?

None of them will answer that, yet they're blaming Trump solely for all who have died and the shuttered economy.

yet we have actual decisions (nursing home placement as one example) made by governors, mayors, etc. where escalating deaths occurred. Go figure.

Media refuses to report it, as well as the virus being manufactured and leashed on us as a bio weapon. It is not a normal virus!

I think the public safety argument has much more merit than an anti-Trump argument. Trump restricted travel from other countries. Is he anti himself? Despite what he tweets, the government is proceeding slowly to return to normal. That's at the federal level. Is that deepstate or what?

I am not into the deep state hysteria. But there is no way to ignore the response from so many entities using COVID to harm Trump and the economy. Call it deep state; I call it hate (probably because he has exposed the cockroaches scurrying across the floor when the light switch was turned on). Oh, and there is complicity by many on each side.

So why did almost every country in the world do the same thing we did when faced with this virus? I think this is only political if you want to make it political.

I think the ones making it political want it political.

I'll agree to that. I'll add that many on both sides of the aisle are trying to politicize this, and that includes Trump.

True that. When you roll in the mud with pigs, they actually enjoy it and only you get muddy. Trump is in the mud pit with the pigs and I think he acrually enjoys it!

The CFR for those under 65 is .2%, essentially the same as the flu. If we hadn't sent the sick to nursing homes, the death toll this year would be around 60,000 given MSM numbers, 40,000 given CDC numbers.

Our population infection rate is somewhere around 20% at current. People theorize that a percentage between 35-50% will bring herd immunity. We need to change our gameplan for next year. Protect the vulnerable, and get that herd immunity.

Well then

It certainly would've been nice to compare if Killer Cuomo hadn't sent the sick to the weak and elderly. But here we are.

I've been singing this very thing since April. But back then, people said I was an idiot because Sweden's numbers were so high.

Science works, except when both parties politicize it and I am not just talking about Covid-19!

Nevermind, Elon broke Twitter.
