Either way it's just imbecilic to keep recruiting these dudes with a history of injuries at this point. His history suggests he will be injured at some point this season.
Actually it is imbecilic to take an unsubstantiated post on a message board and run with it like it is gospel. There has been no proof not only that Franck will be out or have there been proof of posts other than OP and his friends.

Just because it is posted on Rupp's Rafters does not make it true.

The injury point is obviously valid, despite the fact that Kepnang apparently never gives up and keeps coming back and playing hard. But he was starting before and now he’s generally only going to be playing limited minutes. I can’t prove it scientifically, but it seems like less minutes would make it less likely that he’ll suffer a season-ending injury.

And Kepnang is a great backup Center if he is able to go, especially if you're looking for physicality and rim protection. My guess is that it's pretty hard to find a backup Center with the qualities he brings, so you take the gamble if you have a 3rd option (which most teams may not).

Everyone keeps harping on N'Diaye being too small to play C, but he is 6'11 210 lbs and they are probably working on adding weight for him. If you have to put him at the 5, McBride at the 4, and Momcilovic/Williams/Hawthorne at 3 for some spells, I think we will be ok.

In that scenario, I’d run McBride at the 5, N'Diaye at the 4, and Mom at the 3. Small detail, but McBride has the strength to handle the 5 despite being undersized. For 6 to 8 minute stretches against anyone outside of Florida's size, that frontcourt would hold up fine and it would be an absolute defensive nightmare for other teams on the mismatch end.

When Frank came in, it was well documentated that he wouldn't be practicing much this summer for load management. I'd find it extremely hard to believe he would have suffered a season ending injury, but you do you OP.

Its pretty incredible college basketball is in such a state of disrepair that guys are old enough to need load management.

Unreal.

I clearly wasn't speaking to the rumor, but to his history of injuries. Good grief.

OP was at the salad buffet loading up on some leafy greens. The rumblings had nothing to do with Kepnang. Trust the science.

Good point. Which should have been enough. And then we add that Franck just met with reporters and said he is hoping he can get through the whole season without missing a game (missed about 5 last year) and Pope gave a presser and only talked about Kam being injured and McBride being out with a virus.

Having Franck has thus far been genius. Kind of like an NBA team keeping Nazr on the bench (you see the ones here who out of ignorance would b1tch about the team paying Nazr). Nazr stuck around, in part, to mentor young bigs. Franck has impacted this team. He is pushing Mal in the weight room, and probably others. I think we are benefiting from him being here. Time will tell.

Just having to stand next to Franck makes you feel inadequate and makes you go lift

N'Diaye is more of a 3 than a 5. Go look at his videos. There are none of him being in the paint. All of his highlights are on the perimeter. Just because he's 6-11 does not make him a 5.

I agree offensively, but I would think he would be fine defensively and rebounding-wise, which is what would matter in this scenario, not asking him to post up.

LOL Franck just had a Press Conference an hour ago.

Time to look for the true cause of those "rumblings" Anon OP 😅🤡

Franck you pronounced “I think one thing I can bring to this team is two hundred seventy-five pounds of smackdown” wrong.

Hope you’re right but he’s awfully thin to be banging in the paint in the SEC. Florida’s front court would eat him alive.
