I just opened the thread and was lost.

I think the Greenway girls needed to play real competition in high school. They are great players but they should not be playing at such a low level.

You obviously do not look at the teams they actually do play.

Aren't they in what is the equivalent of 2A for Minnesota? I am sure they play good teams out of conference but in a quick search have had 2 close games. Everything else was like 30+.

Can you educate me on the teams they do play? I'm not saying they aren't a really good team and I've only watched one game. It was the final when I thought we had Maddyn. That game was not very good.

They seem to play Hopkins every year. They have actually beat them in recent years. They have traveled out of state to play tough competition.

Not much they can do about the teams in their conference...and willing to go out on a limb and figure that the educational opportunities provided by the school were more of a draw for the family than who their potential opponents are on the field.

Either way they play far greater competition than Chad ever got in high school football...and it seemed to work out ok for him.

I just believe that playing at a large school in the suburbs would be just as beneficial in academics and athletics. I wish Minnesota used bound or maxpreps so I could see the teams you are talking about. You are correct that this is better than what he got either way.

They probably get enough competition during the summer to make so it doesn't really matter.

Hopkins consistently turns out high D1 players...is a regular state champ for the biggest schools, and yet seems to always have problems with that little school.
