Following in older sister Maddyn’s footsteps at Providence, MN and North Tartan. Played varsity as an 8th grader.

5ft8 PG. Has already received offers from mid-major power house programs Creighton and South Dakota State.

I wonder if Iowa has been in contact.

Maddyn Greenway was offered by Iowa before enrolling in high school. Beckett is about to blow up, recently offered by Arkansas. I suppose Kentucky will be on her before too long. Good bet to be top 100 in her class. Not to soon to show interest.

Sometimes it is all about a young person doing it themselves. No footsteps and developing their own relationship. Fished with a close family friend of the Greenways a lot this summer and never heard any negatives. She developed relationships that made her path comfortable.

Kids are being recruited at younger ages now. Maddyn was offered by Iowa and others before her freshman HS year. Beckett will be a freshman this year but already has two years with the varsity.

2029 seems distant but when recruiting elite prospects it’s still generally advantageous to offer early…..

Beckett averaging 19.2 ppg thru 6 games her freshman season at Providence Academy, up from 12.2 ppg playing varsity as an 8th grader. Maddyn clocking in at
32.2 ppg (vs.32.8 last year).

The older daughter didn’t come no reason to get hopes up on the next one. If she comes fine if she doesn’t want to be a Hawk find someone else that could be even better.

Agree 100%. You are being modest with your statement, however.

Jordan Bohannon had an excellent 5 plus year career as a Hawkeye. Reviewing the number of games he led the team in scoring and assists as well as clutch winning shots reveals significant contributions over his entire Hawkeye career.

Both Maddyn and Beckett played varsity starting in 7th grade but I don’t see another Greenway on Providence’s roster.

I just opened the thread and was lost.

I think the Greenway girls needed to play real competition in high school. They are great players but they should not be playing at such a low level.
