So who’s gonna be in second place in the NFC North this year?

I think bears, Vikings and packers should be great battle for 2nd place.

Pack have the potential for 1st but it will be tough with how well coached and consistent the Lions are. I would be disappointed if the Pack aren't in at least 2nd with a wildcard spot.

Eveeybody thinks the Lions are going to follow up last year with the same or better result this year, me included... so it would be smart to bet the opposite way. Haha. Cause i'm a square.

Pack have to get better on D and get consistent on O but they definitely filled key roster holes during FA/draft. One of the best off-seasons I can remember for impact acquisitions for GB.

Weird take… I’m pretty sure those posts were simply to say that being the first pick in the draft doesn’t guarantee success. I don’t see anyone saying he will automatically be a bust except you painting them that way.

Posters believe Williams should play for a bit in the HOF game. Nothing more, nothing less.

Why wouldn't he play? Late to the conversation here. I would tend to agree that rookies need some reps.

Heard on the radio the Vikings have a bunch of veterans hurt so McCarthy is throwing against scrubs. Don't care enough to confirm it.
Their secondary is a mash unit, for sure. Coaches seem happy with their QB nonetheless.

I wish the NFL made teams try to win. The Bears have no business going almost 40 years without a title. Teams should be required to win a championship over such a long time, or be shut down or sent to a new minor division. But the teams are piggybanks for owners and it does not matter if they win or not.

Bears are just an example, I have no pro team, the NFL is now pattycake seven-on-seven ********. And CFB is following its lead.

I would actually be shocked if they replicate last season's success.

I'm not going to back my argument up with facts other than the intuition that they could easily suffer a hangover from an overachieving season. Psychological gut punch to get as far as they did then come up short in heartbreaking fashion.

It always amazes me when people get all hyped about NFL preseason. Like people have no understanding how unimportant it is.
Its not important to starters. Just a lot of unnecessary wear and tear on them. It should be 2 games, But, it is very valuable for young guys trying to make the team.

I feel like a 53 man roster is too small. Id like to see it at 60
