Murray is going to be unstoppable.
Murray has moves. I think that's what separates him. He's not the most athletic or explosive, which is why it took so long for scouts to recognize his talent, but he has the ability to get where he wants to go on the court- the type of thing that guys like Steph Curry and Steve Nash have, where, though they're not even all that quick from a raw athletic standpoint, they seem one step ahead of everyone else on the floor.

poythress doesnt look right. hope its not a derrick jasper situation...playing before he is ready. playing really up right. more so than usual.

Was sitting here thinking the same thing ... I feel terrible for him, you can tell he really isn't 100%, or even that close honestly.

Hope you all are enjoying watching this. Time Warner Cable is literally the biggest pile of steaming feces on the planet.

watchespn.com, or check out one of the streams on here, I am positive BWO is streaming it.

It seems like Poythress is taking a REALLY long time to recover, is nearly a year enough time or is that still a bit too early for an ACL? I've never torn an ACL, so I'm not sure of the timetable at all (google tells me it's possible to recover in 8 months but ... can't believe everything on the internet)

It's probably mostly mental.

SECN, you can put the 5-on-5 on full screen. We've seen Cal talk.

Skal looks really good.

Lets not forget they already practiced today. My guess is Poythress gets sore and tired quicker. Probably told to shut it down so he can be ready tomorrow.

Love the movement on the offensive end. You can tell that our athleticism is going to be a problem for opposing teams.

Makes sense, I had a medial femoral condyle allograft done back in February and I still don't trust it 100%, can't run yet ... but that is completely different than a muscle tear, hope Alex turns into the Alex from the Duke game a couple years back.

Well it looks like it is coming to an end for the night. I enjoyed it and am looking forward to game one four weeks from today. Also just around two and a half weeks until the first exhibition!

What a load of crap! They showed Cal talking more than the damn basketball. Or at best it was split screened. That was the most worthless BBM broadcast ever.

I am more excited about this team than I was last years team at this time. Ulis, Skal, and Murray are a better threesome than anything we had last year.

I think Cal is expecting some early season ups and downs. I don't think he's blowing smoke, I think he genuinely feels like, as with 2011 and 2014, this team will take a while to jell.

I'm preparing myself for some November WTF moments...

True, but the ceiling with this team is looking incredible.

This coverage on the SEC Network leaves a lot to be desired.

I think Ben Simmons and Steve Spurrier for some odd reason have gotten more mentions during Big Blue Madness than any single player on our team. SEC network seems to want to cover anything except the event.
