He’s already proven he can win in Rupp Arena.Scott's been around for a while now. I'd say he knows what he's in for.
PearlSo, if Drew turns down the job, Hurley says no and Donovan says no thanks. Then what?
Read his WHOLE bio.Ever heard of Chris Renkin at 247 Chrishoops? Reporting Drew to Kentucky.
That's what I took from it.Sounds like Chip Gaines is conceding defeat.
Never heard anyone from Tennessee say that. Deep south guys think the south is like 5 states. They’re cluelessTalk to people from Alabama, Tennessee, or mississippi, texas or the like, they don't really include us, but the north doesn't either so we are the red headed step child, lol
Think this board can wait 7 days?Good, we need to wait 7 MEASLY days for Donovan since we are talking about the next 7+ YEARS of the program! Drew is fine, but should have been only after Donovan (who seems to finally have perfect timing!)
Pearl and Barnhart will never stand next to each other. ever.Pearl
Who?Ever heard of Chris Renkin at 247 Chrishoops? Reporting Drew to Kentucky.
Pearl gives me Jordan Belfort Stratton Von Oakmont Vibes.Pearl and Barnhart will never stand next to each other. ever.
Does this mean he’s only going after Christian players? At Baylor it’s implied but what about the state university?Drew is a man of deep faith. That's a good thing!
"All that matters is when I get to those gates, God's not going to say 'What was your record?, How many players did you help get to the pros? How many championships did you win?' So at the end of the day I am making sure (the players) are winning the game of life," he said.
"If you have the right foundation and you know that Jesus has a plan for your life and you trust Him in handling your future then you can relax and enjoy the game of basketball, you can enjoy the game of life and at the end of the day winning the game of life is a lot more important than the game," Drew added.
That's why we could end up with Drew, who will get run out of town on a rail, after several years of mediocrity.Pearl and Barnhart will never stand next to each other. ever.

Maybe Golden as a dark horse.Pearl and Barnhart will never stand next to each other. ever.
I'll help him Chulo:Read his WHOLE bio.
I would hope they are ChristianDoes this mean he’s only going after Christian players? At Baylor it’s implied but what about the state university?
Idk if she is a Waco news reporter or Baylor media person but Ashley hodge said it’s 50/50 if Drew comes to Kentucky or not. That was a couple of years agoDidn't a Waco Sports News guy ( apologize I can't keep up with the numerous reports) mention the longer this goes today that he felt it would implicate that Drew is leaving for Kentucky? Now it's considered a good thing by Baylor fans?
All I know is that I don't know anything and coaching searches are not that long but actually feel like dog years with all the misinformation and fake news.
Can assure you that isn't the case. I know someone on that Staff (Jared Nuness) and know several players who have visited Baylor and 2 who played (Dain Dainja and Kendall Brown) for Drew. It's as normal good/bad as every other program.Does this mean he’s only going after Christian players? At Baylor it’s implied but what about the state university?
Go hide under your bed where it's safe and comfy. That's why we could end up with Drew, who will get run out of town on a rail, after several years of mediocrity.
I think this likely has to do with location, obviously Kentucky is a northern southern states. Similiar to if you ask someone who the SEC schools are, most of the time people will give you Bama, LSU, Georgia (Football brand name schools), you will probably rarely hear someone mention Vanderbilt but they are very much in the SEC. Since you are asking for southern states you are less likely to get the northern most of the southern states mentioned as much.Talk to people from Alabama, Tennessee, or mississippi, texas or the like, they don't really include us, but the north doesn't either so we are the red headed step child, lol
Ha.. yall have been great! Made my day fighting for coach D. Obviously we want him and he’s been the greatest thing to ever happen to @BaylorMBB BUT if yall get him, yall have gotten one of the greatest husbands and dads and friends, and men I’ve ever known. I think he’s staying w us here at BU but if not.. it’s because it’s the right thing for him and Kelly in this new season. God bless Scott Drew EITHER WAYSounds like Chip Gaines is conceding defeat.
It’s just people who are bad at geography. All that is. Those same people will tell you virginia and north carolina don’t count. Some will omit Arkansas, Florida and Texas too.I think this likely has to do with location, obviously Kentucky is a northern southern states. And if he wins, it’ll be even longer.Think this board can wait 7 days?![]()
So ONE outright Conference Title in 21 years would be acceptable by UK fans?Go hide under your bed where it's safe and comfy.
How much is Cal’s Arkansas buyout? So, if Drew turns down the job, Hurley says no and Donovan says no thanks. Then what?
What’s Donovan done since Florida?Good, we need to wait 7 MEASLY days for Donovan since we are talking about the next 7+ YEARS of the program! Drew is fine, but should have been only after Donovan (who seems to finally have perfect timing!)
You and I seem to agree on a lot of topics but I can’t go with you on this one. I don’t think anyone on this board knows if Drew OR his wife flew to Lexington on Craft’s plane. I also don’t think anyone knows ANYTHING yet other than total rumors from people who lie or speculate A LOT. I’m not paying a lot of attention yet because there’s a bunch of bullsh*t being said so far. I just hope we come out on top when the smoke clears. I think BBN deserves some good news.He wouldn't send his wife up here alone if he hadn't already decided he was 100% in. It's up to her at this point and I doubt she'll nix it as I'm sure when he told her it was the top of the mountain of college basketball and that he wanted to do it she was in pending a visit.

Ummmmm just gonna point out your comment about women and moneyAll this **** in the media is just pizzaz, it's a done deal and Drew's little stunt in Waco with the boosters is just to get the number he is looking for from UK.... not a raise from Baylor. I don't care if his wife is an absolute nerd who hates social interaction, women love money more than anything and 8.5 million can change your mindset real quick. Plenty of Baptist churches in Lexington, KY. Regardless of what people think, it is the south... culturally anyway
Yet you'll watch every single game because that stat means absolutely nothing if he steps into the UK position. So ONE outright Conference Title in 21 years would be acceptable by UK fans?
Yea, I didn't think so.
I feel like Pitino has to be the absolute code red glass break in that scenario lol.So, if Drew turns down the job, Hurley says no and Donovan says no thanks. Then what?
Then we don’t panic abd jump off the bridge. The Kentucky job is THE job in college basketball. The egomaniac that just left was too stubborn and petty to accept the fact that his ******** no longer cut it here. Let him sell used cars in Arkansas. Any coach worthy of this job, if they don’t have the balls to accept the challenge then they weren’t right to begin with. Coaches have massive egos. Think right now in the business, who has the biggest ego? That’s who will come here. It’s that simple. So, if Drew turns down the job, Hurley says no and Donovan says no thanks. Then what?
We’ve had enough losses already this decade.I would rather lose every game than to have Pitino as our coach.
