Baltimore Bridge Collapse

Guest
Your boy Prime is still pushing police hate on this board.
Wouldn’t expect you to know the difference but it isn’t hate, it’s simply highlighting the flaws in our system. But the tragedy is that so many Americans seem to not care about the corruption in our police departments.

BIG UPDATE: Baltimore Bridge Collapse

Investigative Reporter Confirms the Ships Secondary Redundant Power & Steering Systems “Failed” — They also lied about the Wind and Water Conditions

🔴 INVESTIGATIVE REPORTER CAUGHT THEM LYING

• They said there were 13 knot winds that night contributing to the ship drifting.
—— the National Weather Service showed there was only 4 knot winds that night.

• They said it could have been the currents that pushed the boat.
—— the reporter checked the current charts and compared to the Fort McHenry Channel, and says it couldn’t have had any effect.

🔴 THE “POWER LOSS” & OTHER EYEBROW RAISING DETAILS

• Under Federal Maritime Guidelines, every freighter/cargo ship is required to have two power redundant systems that operate independently of each other.
—— This Failed!

• Under Federal Maritime Guidelines, the redundant system in the event of a power loss, is supposed to provide power within 45 seconds.
—— This Failed!

• Under Federal Maritime Guidelines, every one of these big ships are required to have a Secondary Independent Steering System.
—— This Failed!

• They cannot explain why the pilot would drop his port anchor and somehow turned the ship, calling for a right-full rutter.

• The VDR Sensor Data is “missing” 2 minutes of data.

🔴 THE LEADER OF THE NEW FEDERAL STATE OF CHINA CLAIMS THE CCP LAUNCHED A TERROR ATTACK

• The FTC declared the CCP used something called “Remote Towing Technology” (here rumble.com/v4n0uuk-the-ne…)

• “Remote Towing Technology” has the ability to take over a ship.

🔴 JOE BIDEN IMMEDIATELY CAME OUT AND OFFERED TO PAY FOR THE BRIDGE — WHY?

• There are so many companies responsible.
— The owner of the boat, from Singapore
— Maersk, who chartered the boat
— Synergy Marine, responsible for the operation of the boat

What about insurance companies?

They ask ALOT of questions and do their own thorough investigations.

This sounds like a coverup of monumental proportions.

There is no evidence of a takeover of the ship and plenty of evidence showing it was an accident. If they wanted to intentionally cause damage they would have done it in the middle of the day and killed a lot more people.

The way the boat moves Indicates they tried to avoid hitting the bridge.

BIden did the right thing (his handlers) declaring that the Governemnt would ensure the bridge gets paid for and rebuilt. That is what government is for imo, to help with natural disasters.

I am not necessarily disagreeing with you on the govt taking care of it but that should include making responsible parties pay for some or all of the rebuild. They also need to determine conclusively what happened and we are not there yet imo.

Fair enough.

I’m all for responsible people being held accountable and having to pay their fair share. At the same time I don’t think there is anything odd about Biden declaring the bridge would be paid for, that is what he should have done.

Also, we need to find out what happened, but to me, the video clearly shows the ship trying to make maneuvers to avoid the bridge. This rules out an intentional strike in my mind. But yes, investigate and get all the details .

Someone has to pay to get something done. Let the gov't pay then they can collect from the insurance companies.
We had a house blow up in our town last April because of a gas leak. The ruins are still there because the insurance companies involved are still friggin' around about responsibilities.
Biden offers to pay to get this fixed ASAP you claim conspiracy but if it was trump you'd be singing a different tune.

Get a grip of yourself. I am not advocating any delay of rebuilding this bridge, but I would like to get a conclusive investigation and report on what the F**k happened.

You were the one hinting at something sinister. You're the one who needs to get a grip. Everything is a conspiracy with you

We are not disagreeing on replacing the bridge so please digest that if possible. I do believe in conspiracies and happily own my opinions. I am still not sure about this one.

right .... we arent there yet ....

Im not going to get into the "theories", because .... could that have happened? Could China have hacked the ship? I mean its possible ... I cant rule it out because ...well I dont know.

Now ... the topic about Biden saying the Federal Government would fit the bill, and the statements like "eeeeeeeeeee insurance companies,..... eeeeeeeee make them pay" this is something I KNOW a little about. My wife is a Workers Compensation and Liability Defense attorney; otherwise, she represents insurance companies. On the liability side, she primarily represents insurance companies who cover trucking companies, but she has a wide range of clients ......anywhoooooooooooooooooo

She recently had a trip and fall case where a drunk ***** in Ocean City tripped over a step at a condo complex, broke her leg and then sued the condo complex. Care to take a guess on how long that case took before it was finally tossed? .....go ahead .... think of a number ......

3 years. Now did my wife work on that case for 3 years straight? No of course not ..... the point is that **** takes time .... a lot of time. I believe the plaintiff was seeking $75,000 in damages ..... if that case took three years, how long do you think a case that will probably be in the realm of $1-1.5B would take before the insurance companies are forced to pay out? and THEN ... what is to keep the insurance company from filing bankruptcy? Can you go after Maersk? even though the pilot was a local contractor? Do you sue the contracting company of the pilot? Do you sue the maintenance company that the owner subbed out to maintain the boat? Do you sue the manufacturer of the systems?

The point is this is incredibly complex and will take .... years if not a decade or more before it is all sorted legally. Im no fan of ole mush mouth, but he absolutely did the right thing here.

Anyone suggesting of making the insurance companies pay or waiting until they pay ..... is a F'n moron, full stop. The insurance companies will pay, but it will be in the form of reimbursement

Its a CRIMINAL investigation dprick. Is that word not in your dictionary.
LOL, in your mind, CRIMINAL equals CONSPIRACY which doesn't appear to be the case here. The focus is on whether or not they were negligent - derrr.

In a lot of cases “manslaughter”, although a “accident”, is criminal negligence.
That just corroborates what I said. I wasn't dismissing that it was a criminal investigation, just that it doesn't qualify as a conspiracy, which we know is always the slant of any Growls talking point.

"In criminal law, criminal negligence is an offence that involves a breach of an objective standard of behaviour expected of a defendant."

For starters...this has nothing to do with the Baltimore bridge collapse. Second, this is a list of evidence with no context. Other questions need answering to do something with this list you have provided. Why did this happen? Were the livestock sick? What has happened at the facility? How did this happen?

Just a quick lesson about evidence.

You have to determine three things about evidence. It's relevance (So what?), credibility (Can I believe it?) and force or weight (How forceful is information to change our opinion?).

So is this relevant to the Baltimore bridge collapse? No
Can I believe it? Possibly. Depends on the source of the information. Where they got the information.
How forceful is this information? Not very to the original theme of this thread.

I agree that its not directly related to the Baltimore Bridge collapse but this is a hell of a lot of extreme damage to American infrastructure and thats why I posted it.

Again...just irrelevant noise.

Irrelevant to the bridge collapse, yes.

But I am suspicious of all the "coincidences" in the disruption of our food supply.

If we have learned anything over the last 5 years we should be skeptical of all MSM storylines from the get go. They continuously lie and fabricate to push the narrative in their direction and deceive the people.

Might want to check sources on this list. Searched for a random one that I could confirm via news sources. Grabbed 74, since it had a name attached - Allen Harim Foods.
The incident you cite occurred under Trump's presidency. The news article from 4/28/2020 describes the chickens being killed.
Doubtful that I managed to find the one incorrect item in your list of unsourced claims.

Well, do you want the bridge to be fixed now or several years from now after legal battles and lawsuits around who owes what? Can’t the government pay for it and recoup money from insurance companies later? Asking a private company to pay for this is untenable if we want it fixed as quickly as possible, which I’m assuming the people of Baltimore do.

This is as clear an example of the need for government/tax dollars as there can be.

Idk. The governments in charge and here we are two years later and construction hasn’t even started.

So not a good example of the need for goverment in my humble opinion. In fact, it’s typical government.

Delayed and over budget.

Moore is wildly hated here in the state. He took a surplus in the billions and turned into a billion dollar deficit. He raised our taxes and fees across the board all the while dramatically increasing spending. Our energy costs have sky rocketed purely due to his policies in pursuit of the green energy scam. Lying about population growth, crime, …

But this is Maryland, all you need to win this state is Prince George’s, Montgomery, Baltimore Counties and Baltimore City. Unfortunately those counties are the bluest of blue and are retarded. Baltimore City is … yeeesh.

As soon as my youngest is out of high school, we are OUT of here.

you'd think by now our politicians would understand that in this work from home, mobile world the more you tax residents the more likely they will leave for a lower tax location. Then as population declines, the tax base follows and you get less revenue, so you have to raise taxes which then could cause more people to leave

Maryland democrats don’t know what bathroom to use, so understanding what you laid out above is beyond them. BUT they sure as **** know how to manipulate an election.

Maryland will never be MAGA, never. The reason why Hogan was so successful is that he was very much a moderate who despised Trump. Him being a moderate allowed him to work very effectively with the piss ants in Annapolis. As a result, the state thrived. Hogan left office after 2 terms with a 76% approval rating. That is UNHEARD of for Maryland.

in the last Gubernatorial election, Hogan backed his Commerce Secretary Kelly Schulz who did an amazing job with Maryland’s economic position during Hogan’s term. She lost the Republican primary to Dan Cox who is a barely literate MAGA retard who was endorsed by Trump. The DNC donated MILLIONS to the Cox campaign, and the frickin MAGA derps bought it hook line and sinker. The result was Temu Obama winning the general election over Cox and it wasn’t even close. The race was called 8 minutes after the polls closed.

but in true Maryland Democrat fashion, they believed the ******** from that f’n corrupt c*nt Angela Alsobrooks when she ran against Hogan for the Senate. That sentient potato campaigned purely on tying Hogan to Trump and if the western shore retards had taken 2 flippin f’n seconds to do just the tiniest bit of research, they would’ve easily seen that ***** was f’n lying through her crooked *** teeth.

I love where I live … but I hate this f’n state.

There is a significant part of me that wishes that ship had knocked down the Bay Bridge to further isolate us from Western Shore tomfoolery. If the Shore counties banded together a seceded, F ya … I would totally support it.

Annapolis is desperately attempting to silence the Shore through gerrymandering and by trying to rehouse Baltimore ghetto trash to this side of the Bridge AND busing illegals into our farming communities. Luckily, we’ve been mostly successful in our push back.

only thing I miss about the Western shore is food delivery options, the rest of it …. You (speaking in general, not “you” Ned) can have it and all the trash that comes with it.

wife and I grew up in Baltimore and abandoned residence once I was "settled" in the Army. We've never looked back. It should be a great state, but has just become middle to bottom of the pack. Virginia seems to be headed in the same direction

After back to back terms of prosperity under Hogan, it’s amazing how quickly Temu Obama has destroyed the state and his supporters are too f’n stupid to acknowledge it.

Baltimore has always been … well Baltimore, but it REALLY started to go down hill in a major way after the Freddie Gray riots in 2015. Some areas of the city are still burned out hell holes. The inner harbor is over run with future doctors and engineers. Power Plant is a hole. The only areas that are remotely tolerable are Fed Hill and Canton/Fells but … I still wouldn’t go to those areas after dark and head on a swivel during the day.

Decades of corrupt Democrat leadership in the city has finally come to home to roost. At this point, build a wall around the city and let them eat each other.

Temu Obama along with Anthony Brown and Steuart Pittman (yes he spells his name Steuart … more retarded than f’rs named Geoff) are doing their best to turn the rest of this state into Baltimore.

edit: yes, I’m very pissed off what has happened to my State

I just don't see why the rest of the country pays for a bridge in Baltimore. I could be convinced if it made sense, though
Are you talking about the original bridge or the bridge that is yet to be built?

An argument for the government paying to rebuild the bridge is that this was akin to a natural disaster. The Federal Government should be the insurer of last resort in natural disasters imo.

They should have started rebuilding the bridge right away with the government ultimately backing the project. It can be worked out in the judicial system who pays what, but we should be able to do better than 3-4 years to build a bridge back imo.

The MDTA funded the original Bridge through loans which were paid back via toll revenue.

The insurance company and the owners of the ship “SHOULD” pay for the new bridge …. But …. Ya …. Billionaires are gonna billionaire and US politicians cave at the threat of lobbyists withholding campaign finance donations and/or backdoor payments.

I guess my point/question was answered by both yourself and fatpiggy. For sure something could have been worked out to begin rebuilding before now. But I would think that both the shipper and the city would have some form of insurance to cover the majority of the cost to rebuild.

really not sure how billionaires play in this.....backdoor payments from lobbyists are most likely illegal

“Should have” are the key words there, but you knew that haha.

I’m sure every region of the US has their own special environmental Nazi groups, ours is the Chesapeake Bay Foundation. ANYTHING that impacts the Bay (and I mean anything) or the tributary water ways is heavily scrutinized. My family moved to Annapolis in 1988. When we moved here the state was talking about building a new Bay Bridge because the current Bridge was already at capacity. Nearly 40 years later … no new bridge. During the summer the traffic jam across the bridge can reach 15 miles east or west depending if it’s a Friday/Saturday or a Sunday.

if one of the spans are closed due to an accident or a jumper … good luck.

of course the biggest polluters to the Bay are 1) the sludge at the base of the Conowingo Dam. This is the hydroelectric dam at the base of the Susquehanna River. The sludge/sediment has needed to be dredged for YEARS, but of course Constellation Energy, who operates the Dam, won’t do it even though they are contractually obligated to do so, BUUUUUUUUUUT pay off Annapolis Democrats …. you can get away with anything. In the spring and summer after torrential rains, they have to open the gates which dumps tons and tons of toxic sludge and debris into the Bay …. the Chesapeake Bay Foundation barely bats an eye at this BUT heaven forbid if I collect rain in a rain barrel (illegal in MD) or catch a Rockfish that is a centimeter too short ….

Another major polluter are the chicken farms on the Shore … but of course Purdue is largely exempt from the regulations that independent/family owned businesses have to adhere too ….. I wonder why that is.

arrrrrrrragh!!!!!

OK, maybe I'm just dense, But from reading that article it seems as if there is disagreement over maritime law and ship ownership/liability, Again, unless the judge or owner of the ship is a billionaire> i'm not sure how billionaires play here. And even if one or the other is a billionaire, the issue seems to be one based on maritime law..

Again, I might be missing something....wouldn't be the first time
