Oddly the pace of the game and number of time-outs seemed to minimize him playing 39 minutes tonight. Looked great at the end of the game.

He keeps this up and that Ariana Grande story might not just be satire some day.

In all seriousness, how does RU Athletics not require all players to take the flu shot every winter? Especially at a college environment in the northeast...hope he takes the shot this year.

I have to think our pace slowing down after the first three games is purposeful by Pikiell, and probably for this reason. He knows how heavily we have to rely on Geo and running up and down the court isn't the way to go.

Michigan State is going to want to speed us up tomorrow, they thrive in transition.

For the old timers out there including me, I’ve said this before but Geo reminds me of John Battle minus the incredible hops Battle had. Both were/are so clutch and heady players but the most comforting thing is that I always felt good when Battle had the ball in his hands and I feel that same way with Geo.
Hmm, that’s not a comparison I’m seeing but maybe the memory has faded. I don’t remember Battle as a great ball handler but man that pull up jumper was unreal. Battle also didn’t do much until his junior year -when he exploded.
