This is what we missed vs St. John’s, glad he is adjusting and learning, which is more important than dropping 20 every game

Ironman. Was clutch all night. Made one questionable drive late but is clearly the most irreplaceable person on the team right now.

Is he trending to the point where we could test the NBA waters after his Junior year?

His leadership stood out tonight moreso than any other game so far. Sitting so close to the bench for the first time, I also picked up on a wavelength vibe between him and Pike. It’s clear that Pike trusts Geo totally — as a complete floor general and in-game coach of his fellow players. Geo willed us to victory tonight.

Can you dream about Rutgers in the NCAAs with Geo at the helm. Incredible. He has the Corey moves and jumper but with all the PG qualities. Too bad he's a senior - oh wait, we could have him for 3 more seasons. GO RU!

Kid is growing up and growing up fast.

I just hope he holds up by the end of the year. He’s logging a lot of minutes and will be asked to do even more against bigger bodies in conference play.

He broke down and got sick at the end of last year so hopefully he doesn’t get burnt out.

There was no real proverbial "hitting the wall" last year. He broke down because e got the Flu. It takes 3 to 4 weeks to get your full strength back even after getting over the flu. Longer if you can't rest to recover. How much rest did he get after he came back.

He lost a lot of weight/strength when he got sick.

He's a special player already and if our bigs ever develop some offensive moves, he'll be unbelievable. HR recruit !

A couple weeks ago, they were showing highlights of the Drexel game on the Big Ten Network. One of the BTN studio commentators ( sorry but I forget who) said that Geo is one of the best players in the Big Ten

Baker was our best player last year as well but he deferred to Sanders and Freeman out of respect. As BAC says above, his IQ is off the charts and he just gets it! He is also a great student and a class kid!

He still has a chip on his shoulder from being rated the 417th best prospect, he said, and Coach Pikiell frequently reminds him about that. But he plays with the swagger and confidence of an NYC kid, rather than one from New England. First time on the court his freshman year, you could see the confidence. Great all-around game.

For the old timers out there including me, I’ve said this before but Geo reminds me of John Battle minus the incredible hops Battle had. Both were/are so clutch and heady players but the most comforting thing is that I always felt good when Battle had the ball in his hands and I feel that same way with Geo.

I believe the biggest play of the game was the late 3 he hit to tie the game.

That was a point in the past where the game has gotten away from RU. A miss there and a bucket the other way & it could've been over.

Instead he sort of walked his dribble right to the line & then buried the shot as if to say to his teammates it's OK.

As Bac said in his recap post he became a Man tonite
