I like our chances! Lots of good arms and talent coming back next year.

Arkansas this year proved that you can have great talent and not make it. We've had unprecedented success in getting to Omaha but it's not easy to get there so we shouldn't take it for granted.

We’ve gone to the last 3 College World Series and 4 of the last 8. Both are unprecedented in MSU baseball history. The last decade has been the glory years of MSU baseball. And the future looks bright.

It’s always a bit of a crap shoot but we certainly should have as good of a chance as anybody. Will depend on how some young talent develops and if we are playing well next June.

The one thing to remember is also injuries rear their ugly head sometimes. Except for Riley Self, we were pretty injury free this past year (I'm sure I'm missing someone else).

This is the unknown factor that can derail a team in any college sport and all you can do is hope you have enough quality depth to plug the holes.

I’d really like to get to the CWS every year but realistically, if we could go 3 or 4 times per every 10 years that would be pretty impressive.

Without knowing which draft eligible players come back and without knowing anything about newcomers…

Logan Tanner, Kellum Clark, Lane Forsythe, Landon Sims, Cade Smith, Stone Simmons, Jackson Fristoe, KC Hunt.

Those are our young players with Omaha experience. That plus the best coaching staff in the country is not a bad place to start.

I expect to make it to the Super Regional

every year. I also think we have a decent shot to make it to CWS again.

Add Luke Hancock, Kamren James, and Brad Cumbest to that list.

We proved that in 2016.

Can’t wait for the fire lemon head posts if we don’t make it to the cws next year.

Ahead of time, if you post that, you are stupid. Don’t be stupid.

And they proved in 2018 with great talent that if you don't make routine plays you can lose National Championships in a heartbeat

We might as well predict a repeat at this point.

Talent will be there to repeat. That's a great place to start.

That's true. Question will be where will the leadership come from. After losing Jake Mangum, Rowdy and Tanner stepped up. Who will be "the guy(s)" next year? I can see Logan Tanner being one, but he kinda clowns a bit. I think Luke Hancock has some leadership qualities, just looking from the outside.

We might have people step up and have the best talent and we might not make it.

Anything can happen in a regional or super regional.

The goal is to keep being in the top 16 and top 8 and make it to the cws 3 to 5 times per 10 years.

That's definitely going to be an issue. I hope we don't have an entitlement issue as well, because these players are being treated like kings at the moment. I'm sure there will be some rough patches at times, and that will be when Lemonis earns his soon-to-be upgraded paycheck.
