B1G refs should be fired. What a joke

We’ve definitely been getting jobbed by the refs tonight. Sad. Illinois didn’t need help from the zebras.
Can’t believe you are all surprised. We’ve been in this conference for 8 years now. This was totally expected all day. This conference protects the top dogs, especially against Rutgers period.
Bigger joke is getting destroyed on the glass and our 4 isnt giving an ounce of effort and a few times is leaking out
If usually with you on this but I actually think the reffing in this game has been a bigger joke.
Cockburn should be playing in the NHL years ago. How many times is he going to check our guys into the boards.

McConnell was pushed from behind and yet he was ejected?!?! This conference is a joke.
Im with you GRF...people are looking at the refs and excuse some pretty poor play by our guys
I saw us get annihilated on the glass. Our 4 not even trying. Officiating only matters if you can keep a game close and match the intensity of the other team.
It’s not mutually exclusive.
Cut the crap. No one is saying the refs are the reason we lost or excusing poor play, but if you want to bury your head in the sand like the officiating is ok then go ahead.
I don’t think anybody is excusing our poor play. We played poorly, but the refs ALSO sucked. Both things can be true.
The officiating was terrible. I am not debating that.
I feel our guys tend to get frustrated by the uneven calls... It's a joke that nobody lights a fire under someone's *** about it
GRF is right. The officiating was abysmal tonight, but we lose by double digits either way.
What’s more frustrating is that we were out-rebounded 41-18. We had 7 assists on 25 made FGs. We had guys not going hard to boards, commit lazy fouls at the first hint of being beaten on the dribble. The hallmarks of a Pikiell-coached team have disappeared in bunches too much this year. Definitely the case tonight.

Outside of the dick grab call, I thought they were ok.

It's funny. I never look at the board during the game. When I came on I thought "there's no way folks can put this one on the refs tonight. We were just outplayed in every possible way." But here we are. Someone else mentioned it already. Were there some crap calls? For sure. But you're kidding yourself if you think we wouldn't have lost by double digits either way.
Double digits, most likely. But it sure would have been nice to have been given the chance.

Totally agree with you. This crew we had once this year and they EFFED us. They can go _uck themselves. What a POS they were that took us out of the game early EFF them!

RU needs to lodge an official complaint on that with the Conference and get the asinine Flagrant2 rescinded to clear McConnell.
being 15-0-11 will make for an interesting seeding discussion in the committee room
We may have gotten a friendly whistle vs Illinois back in December, but tonight whistles were downright hostile!
