Wow he sounds like a broken man.
Honestly I'm stunned myself that we are still dehydrated 3 years in.Wow he sounds like a broken man.
Good. He is a criminal who stole millions from the University.
He sucks but Flood was much worse. What if you reversed the timing of each coach and Flood came into the situation that Ash came into, and Ash came in with all of Schianos players still on the team?F him and his $2 million per year. He is the worst coach we have ever had...period.

Yes he would if he had that kind of talent on the team and played against that schedule.Ash wouldn’t come close to doing what Flood did in that first season... at least Flood knew GS’s formula with that team
fire em bothYeah, a broken RICH man, thanks to Hobbs.

There is no crime. Coaching choices at Rutgers are a total crapshoot with the odds stacked against us.Nah. The crime involves who hired him.
Doesn't matter what he walked into.He sucks but Flood was much worse. What if you reversed the timing of each coach and Flood came into the situation that Ash came into, and Ash came in with all of Schianos players still on the team?
The extension was part of the original contract and was because of the issues Flood left usI don't think Hobbs should be fired for the original hire but he should pay for the contract extension. That bonehead decision cost Rutgers alot of money. Ashs salary, decreased ticket sales, a return of an apathetic fanbase that will be difficult to bring back.
You can't reverse rolls. Anyway, both s*ck and I don't think Ash would have had better results. Sh*t stinks no matter how much perfume you spray on it.He sucks but Flood was much worse. What if you reversed the timing of each coach and Flood came into the situation that Ash came into, and Ash came in with all of Schianos players still on the team?
Excellent post. I rarely agree with you, but this is correct. There is no crime. Coaching choices at Rutgers are a total crapshoot with the odds stacked against us.
He’s the pool we swim in. He’s horrible and pathetic but he showed up for work everyday and gave it his best. Problem is his best sucks.
None of this is criminal.
Ash knew this game meant his future.Wow he sounds like a broken man.

Resign now Chris
Shea has them both beat but they are numbers 2 & 3 no matter how you arrange them.
Please stop with this narrative. There are numerous coaches with head coach experience that are failing miserably. It is a crap shoot unless you hire Urban Meyer or Nick Saban. Harbaugh got waxed by Wisconsin today, who was not in the conversation to win the West. Michigan is supposedly loaded and this is supposed to be their year.But... he had zero HC experience. There were alternatives that had such experience.
Really? So a Wisconsin team ranked in the top 15 in the country and highest ranked team in the west wasn’t even in the conversation to win the west. Who was in the conversation then. Please stop with this narrative. There are numerous coaches with head coach experience that are failing miserably. When is that last time we hired a football coach who had head coaching experience?But... he had zero HC experience. There were alternatives that had such experience.

It was widely expected Nebraska and Iowa, with Wisconsin in third.Really? So a Wisconsin team ranked in the top 15 in the country and highest ranked team in the west wasn’t even in the conversation to win the west. Who was in the conversation then.
Wrong. Yes, Hobbs swung and missed big on his first hire, but he’s shown enough that he deserves a shot to get the next one right.Nah. The crime involves who hired him.

Interesting tidbit on Coan. Where is he from?It was widely expected Nebraska and Iowa, with Wisconsin in third.
Woopty doo on early season rankings. How is that working out for Michigan and Maryland?
Wisconsin has Taylor, but there was a huge question mark at QB.
Jack Coan has really stepped up. Fun fact: he was the recruit Flood was recruiting when he was fired in the helicopter by Barchi.

WEST: 1. Nebraska, 198 (14 first-place votes); 2. Iowa, 194.5 (14); 3. Wisconsin, 172.5 (4); 4. Northwestern, 142.5 (1); 5. Purdue, 110.5; 6. Minnesota, 100 (1); 7. Illinois, 34
Long Island. The firing of Flood (not saying I disagree) started a domino effect on the QB room. Russo decommits, we did not get Coan (not sure when he go the Wisconsin offer), took Tylin Oden, passed on other prospects. . . . .Interesting tidbit on Coan. Where is he from?
Do you work for NJ.com? It wasn’t that badWow he sounds like a broken man.
