Army vs duke

Everyone here thought UK was gonna beat the brakes off of Duke. I would hold off on following any prediction that comes from this board.

I was skeptical, but admitted thought they'd struggle more without a SG or a true front court.

But predictions before a season starts are a bit different. And this isn't just our board.. This was the entire nation. You'd have thought Duke was going to win every remaining game by 30+ with the starters out mid way through the second.

I still think ACC teams are gonna have something to say about this for home games. Duke will have off shooting nights for certain and that's when they'll be vulnerable.

The situation is simple, with not much to debate. It appears you made a false accusation against another poster. A person with integrity would respond to that by simply apologizing and then it's forgotten.

If you choose to handle it differently ..,well. I guess that's your choice ..but taking that path does not say much for your character.

People here are deterring away from what the message was: Duke isn't quite as good as we made them out to be. Best team? Probably. 40-0? Best tw ever? Pump the breaks.

Or another way, who thought Army would have made several runs to keep it a game? Is that.. Is that no one? No one saw that coming? Everyone here thought it was gonna be a 50pt blowout..

I think that was your typical overreaction tho. If people were betting money I doubt anyone would have taken a line of 50 and put money on Duke to cover that.

I do agree tho. We really won't know exactly where this Duke team is in terms of history until the end of the season.

They have the most talent this season. I'm comfortable in saying that. Are they better than our 2012 team? Or 2015? Where exactly will they end up......I guess we'll just have to see.

Remember Ole UK90, since you have tried to interject with me a time or two previously. This other one, NEVER before (That I remember)(I did that for the legalese.) have I had cause, need, or want to interact with she/he/it.

Sorry, that does not compute to me. She/he/its response is not in any form proper interaction, even on the internet. One person responded to my post.

As far as JohnBlue's statement, it was not definitive. (Note: I am not sure of what is required to sign up for a new account now versus when I signed up in 2005 or so.) I do know there are hundreds of fake accounts as they post daily trying to cause problems. It was the best he could do I guess.

Had I any inkling I felt I was wrong I'd apologize in an instant. I stand by my initial statement. I am sorry for one thing, I normally do not waste my time to the length I have in this response. Bring your game up a little more and maybe you will give me cause to apologize but so far all you have done is waste my time.

I feel with my fingers. (Are you, you or are you BDW?) In any case, I just had some genuine Texas brisket, and I get hugs daily from my darling wife and children when they are around. My children are grown now. We are visiting my youngest. To be honest, I am living large (Not trying to brag). Not much on engaging some peoples stupidity, especially people I have no track record interacting with. (That be you.)
