At 47 yards per week, it will take the Bears 67 years to move to Arlington Heights.

The only thing I dislike about this quip is that it wasn’t me that thought of it.

I'm excited to welcome the Prep Bowl back to Soldier Field!

Similarly, I was thinking this would open up Soldiers Field to IHSA football championships - doubting they'd want to share their shiny new place.

Maybe if they get rid of the north stands they will be able to have stock car races!!

Could be a perfect turnaround spot for the Dan Ryan 500.

Or the Dan Ryan 9 millimeter.

McCrikey! McCrikey! as Terry Boers used to say.

On a serious turn, I thought the trooper that was killed may have been a BR or MC dude (actually Hyde Park HS) and that,or at least the investigation at crime scene, had something to do with the late start and finish of that game.

That’s really an asinine comment.

I don’t think his comment is ill-willed. May the Mason family know we’re all indebted to their service.

[UlbKA91]

Poorly constructed and steeped in preconception, but not at all in ill will toward the departed or his brothers and sisters in law enforcement.

Swing and a miss. What is "asinine" about the comment? A shooting not far from MC campus that bottled up a major artery isn't exactly a crazy thought for a late start anywhere in the area.

Sorry, I interpreted it as an attempt at humor. My bad.

BR guys have the best sense of humor in the Catholic League, bar none.
