The only thing I dislike about this quip is that it wasn’t me that thought of it.
Similarly, I was thinking this would open up Soldiers Field to IHSA football championships - doubting they'd want to share their shiny new place.
Maybe if they get rid of the north stands they will be able to have stock car races!!
On a serious turn, I thought the trooper that was killed may have been a BR or MC dude (actually Hyde Park HS) and that,or at least the investigation at crime scene, had something to do with the late start and finish of that game.

Swing and a miss. What is "asinine" about the comment? A shooting not far from MC campus that bottled up a major artery isn't exactly a crazy thought for a late start anywhere in the area.
