If you’re just going to waste NIL dollars in baseball- then for sure a great defensive catcher who can hit should be one of your top 1–2 priorities from day one. Spending big on a catcher has higher ROI than most other positions because that one player impacts every defensive inning and stabilizes the most important part of the game- pitching. A true catcher difference maker is worth every penny because he touches every single pitch and can swing close games- as we are seeing and have already seen this year. It doesn’t look like we are wasting money correctly.

Pretty sure the guy we expected to be our main catcher is still coming back from back issues and can't catch a double header. I could be wrong.

That idiot calling the homer really changed the game. But, our bats have been silent since the first and we have no bullpen. So, at least we got the one. This post is in no way to serve as a jinx.****

Did anybody else notice Dave Neal questioning players trying to catch them and get them in trouble? One of the questions “did you meet with Miss State famous alumni” before you finalized your decision to transfer from Virginia? State player kept having to answer no like he was under questioning from the ncaa.

Welp, we all knew Foster didn’t have it as a starter. Apparently, the same is true for him coming out of the pen

Broadcasters audibly disappointed in the pickoff and that the last hit wasn’t a home run
