Anyone hear from Heaven lately?

Love Heaven! Great guy in actual reality too...which is always important.

I gotta be honest.. I don't care to visit here much anymore either. While I will still moderate on the rare occasion (RS has been awesome to me), this sometimes toxic stew doesn't sit well all of a sudden.

I'm still a HUGE Sweet Pea fan though!

Guess that is what happens when the team finally gets good and the expectations aren't bottom dwellar of the conference. More fans, more takes

I actully liked his RU merchandiser messages of what is available and where to get..
To me they were like OT help messages where great advice could be found .
Yes there are always those who ***** about OT threads asking for advice.
Just like people complain about Heavan trying to inform us about RU merchandise on the market.
I'll complain about the help and merchindice complaniers, they only want the issues they want talked about and don't care about anything else. So they ***** when they see something they don't like , trying to control what's posted on TKR boards

I never understood the complaints about that and the OTs. Just as easy to scroll on by. For example, I have absolutely no interest in Game of Thrones and the new one that's out, so I just scroll by it. I don't ***** or go on the thread trying to ruin it for people who want to talk about the shows. I followed Heaven's threads not really to buy stuff, I just wanted to see what crazy thing he would find next.

If too many threads was the problem.... why not just have him use one merchandise thread and just keep posting the new links there so it's all contained to one thread?

Sounds reasonable if a thread like that was pinned on every TKR board.
But without that Heaven had to start threads to let RU fans know about the latest RU gear available.

I was annoyed with the incessant merch posts but didn't feel compelled to go to the mods about it. The posts weren't always about sales and seemed much more about increasing a post total.

Same. I thought it was schtick, since he often posted in OT threads where he would link something only very tangentially related to the topic. But most trolls thrive on the negative attention (see the majority of our most prominent posters), but I guess I was wrong.

And I;m not talking about the ones that turn threads into CE issues.

sounds fair and a good compromise, if the last on sale message is still on the 1st page.
Maybe say go to page two and bump with new sale, but that shouldn't be expected all the time.
Page 1 bump would be a great idea to try and stop the get off my lawn crowd complaining about Heaven's messages

Mod or poster? Definitely plenty of posters that do that.

Believe a mod clarified in the last one of these threads that Heaven wasn't banned. He simply stopped posting, either because of the complaints, thread deletions or both.

Yep, as I know well, given I'd guess that I get trolled harder than anyone on these boards, with little support from the mods (and at least one who actually piles on at times). What keeps me here is that I generally enjoy the banter and back and forth with the vast majority of posters here.

I bought a couple of things recommended by Heaven and never understood the grief he got - I'll just never get why people don't just skip threads they don't like rather than complaining about them. Would like to see him come back.

Numbers, I love you dude you are one of the more interesting posters on this board. But a dose of self-awareness, you’re no victim here. At times you remind me of the girl that wears a bikini to parade and complains that “they’re all looking at me.”

Heaven is from the town next door to mine. Used to love talking to him about happenings in the area. Shame a bunch of whinny bitches complained about him and the mods actually took those complaints seriously. @HeavenUniv. will be missed

Fwiw the mods never did anything against Heaven, he is welcomed on these boards as much as anyone else. The only time I ever complained to him was when he posted links to fake apparel websites but that’s about it.

He is more than welcome here!
