I'd put Amari and Lamont in that same category with OO but yeah unreal how some people wouldn't want him back. Oweh didn't have the start to the season we wanted and had some bad body language during that stretch. But dang, the dude was tearing into the SEC and just had one of the best NCAA performances in UK history.Of course we would take him back. How is that even a question. It would be awesome to see him play with a real point guard and a real 2 playing the 2. The guy is a beast. The ONLY one we have had for the last 2 years.
So you don't like players that stay at one school for 4 years then? You know what they call trying the same thing over and over and expecting a different result? I’m not even gonna say it.
Pay no attention to the two jokers above. Would love to have him back.Of course we would take him back. How is that even a question. It would be awesome to see him play with a real point guard and a real 2 playing the 2. The guy is a beast. The ONLY one we have had for the last 2 years.
I don’t like players that don’t make a team better. So you don't like players that stay at one school for 4 years then?
I think it’s funny that someone who evidently knows nothing about basketball calls someone else a joker.Pay no attention to the two jokers above. Would love to have him back.
This is beyond stupidI do not want Oweh back… poor leadership skills in my opinion. Time to move on. If he comes back then this will be Popes last season
Ok but we're not talking about Trent Noah right nowI don’t like players that don’t make a team better.
Like a player that literally put his team on his back and was the sole reason they won on several occasions?I don’t like players that don’t make a team better.
Have similar feelings toward OO too ala kat.Would Pope take Oweh back? I’m not sure how I feel about that if he becomes eligible. Do we need another 2-guard slasher or a big 4/5 guy who can help down low? It would be hard to pass on Oweh, but how much NIL would he ask for?
He literally strapped the entire team to his back? Missed that oneLike a player that literally put his team on his back and was the sole reason they won on several occasions?
“Fans” wanting Oweh back is an indictment on their basketball IQ, and not in a positive way!Oweh has far more negatives than positives.
So that means Pope would absolutely take him back.
NCAA actually did something smart
How can you (or anyone) say that about any player, unless you were at practices and in huddles. For all we know it was Aberdeen or MoD. I think Oweh realized in late Dec this team was not going to score enough unless he put us on his shoulders offensively, so that's what he tried to do. Unfortunately just 1 guy like that is not enough.I do not want Oweh back… poor leadership skills in my opinion. Time to move on. If he comes back then this will be Popes last season
He didn't have the start of the season we wanted/expected, BECAUSE (I believe) of his foot injury keeping him out of practice much of the fall. So it took him some time to trust he wasn't going to reinjure it and get "back in his groove".I'd put Amari and Lamont in that same category with OO but yeah unreal how some people wouldn't want him back. Oweh didn't have the start to the season we wanted and had some bad body language during that stretch. But dang, the dude was tearing into the SEC and just had one of the best NCAA performances in UK history.
I don't have faith in Pope but Oweh put to rest any discussions about him being an issue a long time ago in my eyes.
This is what I'm thinking. If we get Stokes or an impact 3 I don't see how we can also take Oweh plus play Kam and Hawthorne enough to keep them happy and justify their nil $.
If we cannot land an impacting 3 then I can see the attraction to Oweh being back.
Oweh has been nothing but loyal. Imagine playing a season with a player that really wants to be on a team that beat you all season. See how quick Aberdeen went back to florida? He was never a Cat. And oweh was The cat. I can see where there would be issues. Trying to win games with the enemy. Oweh deserves better from BBN. I wouldn't come back if I was himHow can you (or anyone) say that about any player, unless you were at practices and in huddles. For all we know it was Aberdeen or MoD. I am not a facial expression, or body language believer.
I don't think you understand team concept he would ruin any chance of playing as a team.Time for him to go somewhere else.Of course we would take him back. How is that even a question. It would be awesome to see him play with a real point guard and a real 2 playing the 2. The guy is a beast. The ONLY one we have had for the last 2 years.
