Of course we would take him back. How is that even a question. It would be awesome to see him play with a real point guard and a real 2 playing the 2. The guy is a beast. The ONLY one we have had for the last 2 years.

The people against it are goofy. Let’s not take a fifth year 20ppg player back on the most mid roster Pope has had so far. It will be his last year alright and not because of 00. Who just hit one of the coolest shots in our NCAA history too. The only reason we didn’t lose in the first round was because of him, the only reason we didn’t lose 20 games was him and Aberdeen. Let’s hate on him though!

The Oweh hate will always be a question mark for me. Guy went crazy for two years doing all he could for BBN.

He wasn't a cancer in year one. He wasn't a problem year two. It was all the other guys Pope added to the team. Imagine playing two years of college ball at UK without a point guard.

Aberdeen was the problem. He was the one killing team chemistry. Half of the team didn't want to be here last year and BBN wants to say Oweh was a problem?

Mark Pope was and is the problem if we are being honest. If oweh didn't come back we would have lost more than 20 games and Mark Pope most definitely would have been fired.

Exactly, I’ll never understand that. The Pope supporters always talk about year one when he was a big part of that team as well. Like he was so bad that year right? Nope.

Without a ******* PG and only 2 floor spacers and while 1 of them shot a mildly respectable 36% from 3, he wasn't looking to be a distributor when he had the ball in his hands. He was playing waste Moreno on a screen to play isolation ball with Aberdeen or himself. Pope didn't a piss poor job of incorporating Moreno and Dioubate in to the offense to take advantage of their ability to get to the FT line.

I want him back, but not if he's our best player. Second or third option, fine. But as far as first/only option, that **** should never ever happen again.
