"He started to be someone who was afraid everyone was out to get him, he never smiled after that all that much - he became somebody different. He used to be innocently narcissistic, much like a lot of receivers in the NFL, but he didnāt have this dark side to him. If you canāt see the trajectory that took a sharp spike right after the Burfict hit - and he has never recovered since then. Thatās just all fact, the timeline: the everybodyās out to get me, the dark, never smiling. The guy used to smile all the time. ... Whenās the last time youāve seen AB happy? ... I think that the launching point for me is that AFC Wild Card game. I think itās that, and I think his head is messed up from football." - Pittsburgh radio host Colin Dunlap
Arians told him to go into game. He refused. Arians told him to leave the team. He accepted. Loon
It's possible. People are able to adapt to stuff like this. Maybe he just needed more time to work on that instead of playing football. Whatever the case is, he's not playing with a full deck. Is it all the "hit"?Not a loon, Burfict hurt him.
I don't like Brown, but Burfict really hurt him.
That is why he acts how he does.
Possibly. But there are other stories about him out there. Just being a douche. They are saying he had cops escort him to a plane. He's an egomaniac who just wanted to be all about him. Again. Not a loon, Burfict hurt him.

OR Actually hope he seeks treatment in case heās notā¦Itās okay to call him a moron and not make every convenient excuse in the world for him.
Two things here: 1. You need some serious help or 2. You lost it many years ago and there is no help for you now.OR Actually hope he seeks treatment in case heās notā¦
Iāve taught 7th graders for 45 yearsā¦. I know ā moronā when I see it![]()
Yeah, when I walk away, Iām NEVER going backTwo things here: 1. You need some serious help or 2. You lost it many years ago and there is no help for you now.
I subbed in a middle school this year and I was ready to commit myself.
One of his WR friends told Tomlin to not give Brown a big contract. He had told Tomlin, "you'll create a monster if you do". Brown has had issues his whole career but they didn't rise to the surface until he had all the money he needed or wanted. Not a loon, Burfict hurt him.

It's okay to accept that he is seriously mentally ill.Itās okay to call him a moron and not make every convenient excuse in the world for him.
Maybe he could put all that money to good use and get some help rather than it being an excuse to do whatever he wants. It's okay to accept that he is seriously mentally ill.
Something happened to Brown. It was that hit or something else because he is crazySad exit for a talented player.

On THAT, we all agree⦠HOW he became crazy is the mysterySomething happened to Brown. It was that hit or something else because he is crazy
I don't think what he did was serious enough to warrant immediate firing when you knew he was prone to do something like that in the first place.
I'd say he was always problematic so then you add brain injury, fame, money and drama on top of that and you get what we see now..On THAT, we all agree⦠HOW he became crazy is the mystery
He was on thin ice to begin with..He is one of the best receiver talents to ever play the game. I would have kept him, won the Super Bowl, and then you can do whatever you want with him afterwards. I don't think what he did was serious enough to warrant immediate firing when you knew he was prone to do something like that in the first place.
The NFL encourages this diva unsportsmanlike, narcissist behavior. Throw in head injuries and you got what we have here.I'd say he was always problematic so then you add brain injury, fame, money and drama on top of that and you get what we see now..
