Already answered this questions.. Suggest go find it..So are you willing to eat a few bad years while we build these 3 stars up? Or if we go say..22-10 will you be back here asking why Cal took 3 star recruits?
In answer to your question yes. It is anti Cal because he doesn't "push" anyone out the door. You are a fool to believe that Cal wouldn't want these guys to stay for four years. Hell, maybe he should red shirt these freshmen so they could get another year of experience? If you believe that he pushes kids out then please explain to me how the Harrisons, Willy, Briscoe and other stuck around? Is it anti-Cal to wish he wouldn't push every single guy out the door so that we could build the depth it will take to win titles? Just wondering about the rules of what we're allowed to think here. TIA!
I just think he needs to change up his recruiting.. Instead of all 5*s,, try to convince some to come and stay 2,, 3,, 4 years at least.. 4*s and 3*s mixed in..
We sure did. Compare the previous nine years of it over the last and report back.#1 You said:

Name one kid that Cal pushed out other than (jokingly) Cousins and MKG?
Can you do it?
If so name them.
#2 "We did actually have a program before Coach Cal, you know"
I had no idea...
This is for you...

if you were Fox, Bam or Monk would you go pro give me a break. A number of guys left early that shouldn't have but I bet Cal told them not to leave. Is it anti-Cal to wish he wouldn't push every single guy out the door so that we could build the depth it will take to win titles? Reread my post friend. I was not claiming Calipari was outcoached. That's what my response was saying.
Roy had the bigger team and the bigger team won. You can't coach size. Meeks getting 17 rebounds was the difference. That's not on anyone.

What? I have to be happy with all the talent that's came through here and only one thing to show for it? Not everyone is happy about it.. There's more fans that aren't happy as me than ones just fine with the 8 year results..
There is not one instance of any proof he pushes them out the door. He give them info and lets them decide. That's not pushing them. He supports their decision. Is it anti-Cal to wish he wouldn't push every single guy out the door so that we could build the depth it will take to win titles? You have the "best recruiter" in the business so obviously you don't know squat! Never won at UMASS, never won at Memphis and won only one here with the best players every year!
What I don't understand is that this is basically the perfect "system" of what fans that hate on Cal's OAD strategy want.
We got 3 of the top players in the class that are the studs, but we mixed them with:
2 "lesser" freshman (Gabriel, SKJ) that should be here for another year or more
A returning sophomore that was a 5 star but not quite good enough to be OAD (Briscoe)
2 Seniors that were in the 3-5 star range who slowly developed into reliable, solid upperclassmen (Willis, Hawkins)
A 2nd year JUCO player, now a senior, who is a specialist role player, and a shooter, typically what our fans want the most of (Mulder)
A sophomore who is a long term project player but got minutes to develop and is improving (Humphries).
On paper this is exactly the kind of recipe and makeup of the team you'd want. I have no idea how you can complain about the construction of this roster.
Need to get out more then..No, no, no! You're just flat out wrong about that. How in the hell did you come up with that ridiculous notion? Cause you and your buddies aren't happy? So, that must mean everyone? Um, no! That's just not true at all.
1 title..So.... you want us to bring back Tubby Smith? Let's see how that works out for us.
Then we'll never win another title,, lol.. This whole if you don't go pro after one year won't win anymore titles..This is just a stupid statement!
Need to get out more then..
The problem with that is you have to turn down Top 25 guys for weaker, less talented, Top 100-125 guys.
Top 75 or so expect playing time and do not want to be recruited over until their Sr year...
Not to mention the 3 years between with this strategy. You think it sucks now with superstars at all 5 spots, try doing it with only 2-3 for 3 years in a row...
So.... you want us to bring back Tubby Smith? Let's see how that works out for us.
If you can't see that he gets the kids, that you want to keep for 2 years, by telling them he will leave their wish to go pro after 1 year up to them, then I don't know what to tell you. Yes, it would be awesome to keep kids for 2 years that can go first round in the draft after 1 year, but that's unrealistic and would undermine Cal's recruiting success. Would you prefer to see these kids at Kansas or Duke or UNC? They're going to commit to someone, and they're going pro regardless of which school they attend. If you can't see that he needs to start trying to keep some of his freshmen for more than one year then you better get used to these losses in the tournament.
I love Cal, but he's becoming Bill Self.
I can just provide that they both have very very good, talented teams year after year but just have one title. Can you provide a side by side analysis that proves this?

The only unhappy people I know of are the ones who expect to go 40-0 every year with an average margin of victory of 56 ppg.
I have a good friend who is an IU fan. She hates UK. She hates Cal. She said she'd KILL to go to six elite 8s, four final fours, 2 title games with one championship in 8 years. The unhappy people are either spoiled brats or delusional.
I love Cal, but he's becoming Bill Self.
Why would I?
I am right.
Your plan wont work. Take the #1 Big, #1 SG, #1PG every year and surround them with lesser talent.
Yeah ok...
Come back with a better plan, otherwise we are not arguing, I am just correcting you.
There is so much wrong with the premise that they are becoming one and the same.I can just provide that they both have very very good, talented teams year after year but just have one title.
Hope you bust. UK doesn't need fans like you, dummy.8 years,, 8 top recruiting classes,, one title.. It's title or bust for me..
