Is how Frost has surrounded himself with ‘yes men’. SOMEBODY (esp Busch) should have spoke up and questioned (or said no) when Frost called the play. Just like airline and hospital catastrophic errors, they almost always occur because someone was afraid to speak up. It speaks volumes that nobody talked Frost out of that idiotic decision.

I guess it would be mildly interesting to know if Frost sought opinions on the onside kick and what feedback he got. Ultimately he's the boss making that call though, no matter the feedback.

They were all probably paralyzed from shock and unable to speak up due to an incredibly dumb decision on SF’s part. The onside attempt was so half assed.
Everyone in the room where I was at was so dumbfounded by SF’s attempt to get cute. He does this often and it defies logic. Even for us who have never coached at a high level, were like…why??
It seems like the onside kick call was purely an ego thing for Frost...since he's no longer calling plays, he needed to insert himself in the game somehow.

Maybe so, however the loudmouth Nelson (who sucks) and Nick (who sucks as well) could have helped the cause and stopped their ***. The LB play was supposed to be the strength and ended up being worst LB corp in years. Garrett Nelson All-Big Ten this year? The dude plays with his mouth. Keep buying in to the media. Clowns.
