hope not, I hope its a HOLY **** why weren't these guys playing after the Illinois fiasco moment where we could be sitting with 9 wins and then ready to fire frost for losing 3 games!
Doesn't matter the outcome, I got what I wished for, and I am glad. OK, so no one gets bent, I didn't wish for AM to get injured. I don't want the young man injured in any way. But, I couldn't be happier to see what Smothers and Haarberg can do with some prep time going into the off season. I also hope Scott doesn't set them up for failure so he can tell everyone, Told you so. Wish I didn't even have to think that was a possibility. But, TBH, I do fear that.

Lot's of option plays and that type of run game against Iowa then.
Just my opinion, but I think it's time to turn the page to a new chapter with a new OC and a new QB. Go out in the portal and bring in 1 or 2 QB's, an older guy, and younger guy. Build up competition in the room.

One thing I am looking forward to is opening up the QB run game instead of trying like heck to make sure AM didn't get (more) injured.
Frost isn't some kind of monster. He not going to somehow sabotage the new QB's and somehow manage to win at the same time, which he needs to do yesterday.

Sucks for A-Mart, but I am glad we get to see this. I hope Frost calls the offense he intends to look at going forward, and I am pysched to see what Smothers and Haarburg can do. I think Smothers has a 'quick blinker" and he will need it against Iowa.
Did you see Smothers run the ball Saturday? He literally ran into Cam Jurgens and fell like he got shot.
It moved 5.5 points on my app the minute he was named out. So the bench Adrian comments are certainly not Vegas’s idea of an improvement.
Kinda wish Masker could play a little to be aggressive with pass offense. The Little I see that of him gives me more confidence than the other two.

Yeah, I think Frost is primarily motivated to prove everyone wrong that he couldn't keep his job at 3-9. He'll show us.
