I wish him the best. I hope he averages 30 a game. It’s a shame UK always has so much talent at the guard position. This kid just needs a prolonged chance to show what he can do.
He played in 19 games at 7 min per game.
During that strech he shot 29.4% from the field, and 18.9% from 3. He's a 3 point specialist who pretty much can't do anything else. Now if that was up 35-38% he would have got plenty of run, if you can only shoot but you can't make them why would you play?

No no no. It’s a rule on here that Cal makes him nervous so he can’t shoot and it’s not his fault. Cal is a subpar coach, that doesn’t make Dontae Allen a good player. He’s terrible and that’s why he will be average at a school like WKU.

He had ample opportunity while here. He had 2 good games against the same team. Other than that, he shot a dismal 22% from 3 and played matador defense. He didn’t belong at UK in the first place. Good luck to him.

Dantaie thinks he wants Kentucky, but I doubt he really does. I understand why he thinks he does but no matter how bad he does he probably would be better off not saying it.

“Us”?
Don’t think you have to be a player to refer to your team as “us”.

if we do play WKU, regardless of game outcome, I hope DA drops 30 minimally. Contrary to popular opinion on this board, DA can play the game. He’s not a superstar by any means but neither are any of the players from the peacocks who lit “our” team up.

I guarantee he could guard against Cals offense

Doubtful. With healthy guards UKs offense was great last season.

Considering reports from practice last season he couldn't guard **** in practice against calipari and kentuckys offense either.

I thought he was better and worthy of bitching at Cal. I was wrong. He is a very average player and WKU is a good spot for him. He will have a few hot games but not a guy you can ride thru the NCAA’s. Good luck to him.

Confidence means a lot for a shooter and Cal pretty much took that away from DA.
