To be fair Boston being criticized is the last thing we need right now, his confidence is already shot and we need him to turn it around at least somewhat for our team to be the best it can be.

Allen will start the next game for Boston..BJ's problems are in his head..he was great in HS, he needs to relax..He shot some really bad shots and played poorly on defense...most of his bonehead plays are off the bounce...Id like to see him catch and shoot some 3's, yes he's a good shooter

My question is how does a guy making millions to coach at Kentucky not see it sooner? It’s because he didn’t want to see it. He wanted to play his highly ranked, projected lottery pick recruits that he made promises to.
He’s putting promises and draft status above winning games here and has been for a while.

You might be right. He may have been blinded by his own biases. I think now, he can’t deny it. It’s blatantly clear to anyone that knows the game that Allen is a critical part of turning this around

Allen doesn't move on offense and that's a huge problem. If a guy is stuck with no dribble and Allen isn't in his spot to swing it to , that's a problem. People start forcing bad shots because if things like that.
He's a good catch n shoot sub right now

What I mean was his defense was slow and lacked effort on 4 plays where they hit shots when he could have done better with more effort.

One guy makes shots and gets beat some on defense. The other guy can’t buy a shot, takes terrible shots early in the clock, doesn’t look to pass or kick to his open teammates, and sucks on defense.
I’ll take the first guy and figure out something to help him defensively.

Don’t believe the Allen defense hate. He’s no worse than anyone else on the team. He’s not great defensively but no one on our team is right now. He gives us way more then he gives up

It's obvious this team plays better without Boston on the floor. Allen is better than him by far. I know some might disagree.

Some people are grasping at straws to minimize Allen's play. It's sad. Not that he's perfect. Just geez folks hanging onto any negative detail.

Perfect follow up game for Allen IMHO.

He had a monstrous game that will go down in legend and its easy to follow that up thinking you have to do it again to prove its not a fluke and lose yourself. He scored a very respectable 14 points on 2-5 from 3 and grabbed 5 rebounds. This proves it wasn't a fluke. He can definitely be a 10ppg + guy

I agree . Psychologically I would be praising Allen and what he brings and then privately keep working on his D .. which does need improvement

IMO DA has to up his intensity on the defensive end. Just too laid back. Works ok on offense but not on defense even if it’s his personality.

Definitely the team is better on offense when he’s on the court.

He needed to make 2 more of those mid-range shots for a very good game.
