I really hope he continues to grow and improve. He’s playing hard and is becoming that 5th player we need so badly to finish this season strong.
Pretty sure most want him to succeed, he just hasn’t to this point.

I’ve always believed in EJ since the duke game last year I knew he had superstar potential just needed coaching and development to learn how to use his potential and cal and KP gave him that hopefully this isn’t a one hit wonder game

everyone, well i shouldn't say everyone i guess there are probably a few that want players they don't like to fail so they "can be right" but for the other 99% we want UK players to be awesome and succeed. Trust me I know 12 and 8 is like 25 and 15 for him but he's still getting crushed on the defensive glass and he's shooting under 50% from the field and 40% at the line. We still need him to be better than this. Hopefully this will spark him to play hard.

EJ played great. Literally no one is unhappy about that.
One of his best games ever. He was great and the player we need. Him and Nick playing like that with our guards clicking will make us nice.

There was no way we were getting Carey. If you recall, Cal went all in on Wiseman and didn't recruit any other big men of his caliber. Duke stepped in and they were his leader for the majority of his Junior and Senior year. So no, we couldn't have had Carey.

Basically because EJ was bashed relentlessly, as was Nick. No respect what so ever as they were trashed by ignorant fans who bleated and wailed at any suggestion they might improve. Well, Nick could end up the SEC POY and a possible lottery pick. EJ posted a very respectable game. Once this team patches a few problems and gets some rest, their ceiling comes down to match ups and a bit of luck.
