Without Tua, things get interesting...What if:

1. Tua's not ready for LSU, and Mac Jones can't keep up with Joe Burrow?

and

2. State beats A&M and Arkansas.

and

3. Tua's still not back for us, and (shhhh, keep it low) we beat Alabama this year???.

OMG, Jomo would get a raise and a contract extension. And most of us would need prefrontal lobotomies.

Beerbully

Makes sense now

But we made Bo Nix throw for nearly 400 yards on us. So Mac Jones can easily get over 300 and its not like we would even be able to score on them anyway.

Even at StarkVegas, with State on a two-game winning streak and the Tide without Tua? Say it ain't so!

We've defeated Alabama three times in football during my life here on this good earth, but I don't think we used a baseball bat in any of those contests.

Another thought...What if we win out, but lose to Ole Miss? Will we go running through the streets, screaming at the dark night, or retreat to the hills, dumbstruck and forlorn? Moreover, what would we do with Joe?

What if JoeMo wins a national championship...should we still fire him?

Seriously, these “what if” scenarios are getting stupid as hell. We have the exact same percent chance of beating Bama as we do of accomplishing the above.

WHAT IF our offensive line was able to block the Aggies ? Even open a few holes....give Shrader a few seconds to scan the field ???

Hell, what if we actually have a pulse Saturday in a road game? Can we start there?

As Croomz said....."Maroon is the only color that matters." Unfortunately that will not help us out much Saturday.

Careful what you wish for Beerbully. This year's team playing a respectable game against UA is listed in Revelations 42-10 as the last sign of the arrival of the apocalypse. If state scores anytime before Sabin puts in the waterbody squad, you need to quickly get right with your chosen deity. My recommendation would be God and not a baal asherah pole.

These fantasies are unbecoming of SPSers. Who really believes we are winning more than one game the remainder of the season?
