Cam’s snapping knocked the rhythm of the running game off in the first half, then they barely played in the third quartet. Adrian had a bad game. Generally uninterested play. D made plays when needed.

I watched our Heisman hyped QB missing open receivers multiple times. This defense Nebraska played will give up 35 a game this year.
It looked to me like AM was going at about 65% speed. There are times if he just tucks the ball and runs, he’d get 5+ yards. Instead he waits too long and then gets sacked or tries to force a ball in to coverage and we all know what happens then. It’s like running is the absolute last resort. I don’t remember seeing that low of energy from AM last season. I know the kid only showed a fraction of his talent today (Our line certainly didn’t help the cause today). Well, I’ll be in Boulder Saturday—hope we see a Husker team “flying around”. GBR.
I won't disagree that Martinez was bad. This was still the best defense Nebraska will face in the non conference, none of them are great. I don't think Martinez will play this bad again this year...

Noone said running backs had huge holes. But there were times Adrian had all day to throw and if he is going to command this offense he can't miss Robinson like he did the end of the first half. And you know what? If your line sucks you still have to make something happen. He doesn't have that magic like Taylor did. He just doesn't.
You know I thought the same thing, why didn’t we use our speed, quick slants, bubble screens, or slip screens, I didn’t watch the game but was listening to it, and it seemed as if USA was blitzing hard and that may have rushed 2AM, but if we would have did two step drops and rocket the ball to JD Or Robinson on a quick slant or bubble screen it would have got them into space
