I’m cool with Lebron speaking to social issues that face his race. But I do have a problem with him sanctioning groups that are not vehemently opposed to murder, arson, burglary, theft, vandalism and assault. There is a line between social justice and social chaos. He crossed it. He did it publicly, therefore he is fair game for public scrutiny.

Jackie Robinson supported the Black Panthers as well as other groups that weren’t defined as “peaceful”. He wrote extensively about police brutality against blacks in his columns.

What’s your opinion on him?

Same as with James. If Robinson supported murder in the streets, I think it is contemptible. Dr King did not advocate murder, theft, arson, burglary or assault.

I assume you have no problem with such heinous activity or you support groups that don’t stand against it? You leave that impression.

I think you have a very narrow and myopic view on these issues.

As I think back on Trump's "White Power" tweet video and watched him struggle unbelievably in the debate last night to come right out and denounce white supremist groups....I have a new understanding of what many black athletes are pointing out what some refuse to see or even worse, condone in our society.

I’m not tolerant of murder, arson, theft, assault, vandalism and such, even if advocated by sports figures or celebrities. If not supporting groups that insist on this horrific animalistic behavior means I’m narrow minded then so be it. I’m do not advocate for barbarism.

You would have really hated the Boston Tea Party with all that looting, rioting, destruction of private property and taring and feathering.

Also I’m curious about your choice of language. Using “animalistic”. Why?

Sorry. I don’t have discussions with advocates of barbarism and murder.

"Sorry. I don’t have discussions with advocates of barbarism and murder."

Oooh. Animalistic?

How about you, a twisted, antisocial, numb nuts of a damaged, semi-human critter?

You really must educate yourself so you can better navigate this complex world. How the f**k did you come up with intolerance "of murder, arson, theft, assault, vandalism and such, even if advocated by sports figures or celebrities?"

"Advocated by sports figures or celebs?" Name some of these misbehaving sports figures and celebrities, you ever-so-principled guy. Show us the quote. Cite the reference.

You can't because they didn't, did they little dude. Quite an embellisher you are.

You embarrass yourself and the commonwealth.

I do love your use of and such. Did you overhear some educated person utter and such? It sounded cool to you. It's so cute that you're trotting it out for us now.

On thing interesting about the Lakers is that James for the first time in a long time and maybe ever is not the best player on his team. You have to give him credit, he blended well.

Davis continues to be one of the most enigmatic and savvy players I have ever seen. Sees the court line a guard. Plays instinctively as a center

Bam and Herro are truly lightning in a bottle. I try not to pay attention for fear it will break.

KY youth against experience.

Name the list of sports figures and celebs that support a group that refuses to denounce murder, theft, arson, vandalism and assault? Gosh, most of them these days, just pick a name and your chances are good. If murder of innocents is the path and price for social justice, then it is lost. Dr. King would beg to differ with the beast like violence we’ve seen.

By the way, nice try to cancel but you don’t get to make racism in your own image. If it’s a war of intellectualism you want, first, you need more than a marshmallow. Second. A basketball board is not the spot for it. Go spew your hate elsewhere.

I would love to live like he does by being broke. Please let me be broke.

I usually don't disagree with your positions but you are wrong this time. Donald would be be richer (5x) if he had just invested in index funds with the money his father had given him.

He has never been even an average deal maker but people love his schtick.

When you get that rich, you think it really matters? It’s like Carl Sagan. Billions and Billions...

i don’t know man, James is a beast. I think he is still the best player on the court; but it’s much closer than in years past.

He is still a monster. Compared to year’s past, he just seems half a step lower, maybe a tad short on body strength. I’d pick Davis first but it’d be a damn tough choice

Talk about hypocricy...like Dems lump all cops together, burn cities down, and racially divide the us, plus talk about bidens affiliation with the kkk, family affiliation with child molestation. Democrats say all the rioting and senseless murdering isn't happening cuz of this "movement".

LeBron James is just a hypocrite and problem with him he thinks his opinion matters more than rest. The problem with him saying things is he's a big figure and has influence, compared to most of us no influence. That being said go heat LeBron James is a drama queen.

Ok, and that is fine...but talk about China, maybe show some compassion to the 2 good cops the scum bags wanted to die in LA instead of a lame no comment, maybe talk about how we can stop having so many young black kids dead from black on black violence in Chicago, etc. He should also actually do the research and get educated on some of these cases instead of just assuming bad evil cops and innocent criminal. He is extremely inconsistent in his takes and ultimately I do feel he cares more about money and his own legacy than any of the other stuff he spouts off about. I don't blame him.
Black on black crime, is a myth. Despite it no longer being legal to enforce, we still live in a very segregated society. All the statistics about most crime against black people being performed by other black people can be said about white people. The China stuff, okay, but do you hold everyone to that standard? You have to be really selective with what you buy and engage with to maintain that. That doesn't mean he is wrong with what he says.

You’re being sarcastic right?
