When it’s done and over it really comes down to this is this “ is this heaven no heaven is part of IOWA” Every football Saturday is a high porch picnic as Hayden use to call it.

Rumor has it that Bjorn is locked to UConn, but UConn only has two scholarships, and rumor has it that Olivia Vukosa and Jerzy Robinson are also locked to UConn. If Robinson commits to UConn, I think Iowa has a real chance of get Bjorn. Thoughts?

Skim Milkey had a x post of the Kansas mascot dancing. Hopefully it has nothing to do with Bjorn but I don’t like it.

With McKenna in the fold, it is on to the next top gun. Addison has a lot of great options but Jan is building something special in Iowa City.

This young lady is super athletic, has a great handle and excellent shooter. She would be another key piece toward building a national championship team.

My son is friends with some PHS football players, where she goes to school, and they say she is going to TX. Says KU is offering the most $$, but it has always been Texas.
I tried arguing with them, but they stood firm. I said I had heard it was Iowa, and they said she likes Iowa, but not as much as TX.
I hope they are wrong.

Primary thing for Texas is Crump. Edit so just to clarify - you argued with your son or the PHS football players?

I was disagreeing with the boys from her school. I was more probing to just see if it was something they heard around the cooler or if it had some legitimacy to it. They seemed pretty confident about the offers. They also said she doesn't talk much and they are not close to her, so who knows, but I found it interesting/frustrating to hear.
Hoping they are wrong.

She is the #11 ranked player in this class. Surprised she doesn't have her own thread. Visiting this weekend for homecoming. Iowa is one of seven finalists.

She would be another critical piece for Iowa to make a final four run. I'm sure Jan and the team will roll out the black and gold carpet.
Without her it’s really not a great year recruiting

Of course it would be a better recruiting class with two 5-star recruits, especially since it would be the first time in history that Iowa would pull that off, but landing the #6 player in the class, the best wing/PF in the country, is miles and miles away from being a bad recruiting year. Clark was #4 in her class, Woliczko is #6. Imagine if we had only recruited Clark in the 2020 class and someone said it wasn’t a good recruiting year. Obviously Woliczko isn’t Clark, but she’s the second-best recruit in program history. So even though they’re not exactly the same situations, it are similar.

We didn't need a big class and it was pretty successful IMO to get a top ten player in this class. We also still have the transfer portal to fill needs after this year.

Yep, McKenna slides right into Hannah's spot and get another point guard in the portal and we're ready to go next year. This girl is gonna be gooood!

Coach Bluder has had two McDonald's All Americans in the same class before. Coach Stringer has got a lot more top recruits, before there were Girl's McDonald's games.

I said 5-star recruit. Has Iowa ever had two 5-star recruits in the same recruiting class? No. So there you have it. That's what I'm talking about, not other metrics.
