As it stands right now, not too many next season.

Feuerbach hasn't played at AIA in 6 years, Steulke, Gyamfi, McCabe, and Affolter haven't played in over 5 years and Levin left the program. Only Houston has come directly to Iowa from AIA in the past 5 years.

This causes me to wonder why all the star players go elsewhere and Iowa doesn't get any from AIA. Houston is the only player from AIA in the past 5 years. Please don't say it is because one Assistant coach left Iowa last year for a promotion. Iowa is still Iowa , Jan is still Jan.

Is Iowa doing a poor job of recruiting and closing or is their an issue with AIA? It isn't likely an issue with money, crowds, Iowa not able to get to championship games or national recognition. Streamers on YouTube are from all over the globe daily discussing Iowa women's basketball.

I am not trying to stir anything up, just want anyone with facts or knowledge on this matter to weigh in.

Not trying to start any unfounded rumors, but is it possible the AIA hierarchy have a financial relationship with some college programs?
