Guy was a baller. As long as there are no more Breitenstein I like ACRs chances.
His dad still coaches, does that count? As long as there are no more Breitenstein I like ACRs chances.
Saw the Rockets in person vs Shelby, and believe me they are the real deal. Good luck trying to contain Rico. Large offensive line, and several others that can more than compliment Rico. Looking at AC's schedule only possible blemish during regular season could be Asheville, but that will be a toss up in my opinion.Guy was a baller.
You bring up an interesting point. Dobbins and Ebaugh had a big game in 2012's jv game against Reynolds. Obviously a lot changes between 3 years worth of growth and development, but this is basically the same teams playing one another for the a varsity game. Our RBs have been fairly productive as well but I don't seem them continuing the 200+ yards, but rushing the ball is a large part of Watauga's offense. Should be interesting.Teams have struggled to run on us this year. But the triple is a devil to defend. Add to that the passing ability of Dobbins and we might have ourselves a nice little ball game up in Boone on Friday night fellas.
Have fun with Roberson this week. Emmons will run all over them until Allen stops him lolThis should be an interesting game. I think Watauga keeps it close but
not sure if it's enough to pull out the W.
They have a pretty solid defense on the outside, better than it has been in the past few years. Not a great deal of size but they're fast and feisty. How good is the Watauga defense? Speed on the edge?
Curious to see what the DC does to try and contain our speed on the edge. If I'm not mistaken that is Dustin Kerley. He was at ACR for a little bit. Great dude, great hire for the Watauga staff. They have a pretty solid defense on the outside, better than it has been in the past few years. Not a great deal of size but they're fast and feisty.
Never met him personally, but I've heard a lot of great things about how well he works with those kids. Are you trying to make the trip to Boone? I know that's such a long trip on a bus, but it'll be worth it. No App football but perfect football weather.Curious to see what the DC does to try and contain our speed on the edge. I have seen ACR play. The QB is a special athlete and recruited by Notre Dame. Logan the RB has great speed. Oline blocks well.I've seen this as being one of the games of the week, but I'm not so sure how this game plays out. I know ACR is really, really good and Watauga can hold it's own. Anyone have any unbiased insight?

Here are his highlights from the Shelby game.
You did no such thing my friend nor does any other Asheville poster because they are polite, genuine people unlike fans of some other schools who defend underhanded behavior and think they can drop da' bomb on every opponent. All the best to Asheville.Sorry to hijack your thread.
Doss, where will you be sitting? All you ACR fans and other spectators traveling up the mountain, have a safe trip. I know how crazy the roads can be at times, so be careful. Great football weather right now in the high country, you're gonna love it!!!
Probably on the bleachers closest to the concession stand.Doss, where will you be sitting?
Norris sat on the bench during the Shrine Bowl and came in late. Got the ball on the sideline and smoked the SC players.
