Well, it's been stated on this board that Pike will never reach the Sweet 16 so...They lost in the second round of the NCAA tournament though.
This is kind of like stressing over performance, anxiety if you’re about to sleep with Mila Kunis. I get it but at the same time wouldn’t we all like to have that kind of stress in our lives. This is the challenge of trying to build the team around very young but highly gifted players who are not expected to be in the system long. They are away from home for the first time, may need some further physical development, and are playing with new players and a new system. This is why what Kentucky and Duke do is so difficult. Every season they will adapt their offense and defense to the players coming in, and will stick with them even when it isn’t going well because they don’t want to do anything to damage their draft status, and some seasons it never comes completely together at the end. If Dylan also commits, it is great for us, but it is also not without risks, and Pike will be judged by both how they play on the floor, but also whether he has helped or hurt these kids in the draft.
The tournament is always going to be a crap shoot unless you have a very dominant team. They lost in the second round of the NCAA tournament though.
Ace's reputation is that he's a very good defenderDon’t tempt me to start one right now!
Watched a bit of tape and Ace Bailey is absolutely ridiculous. All of it doesn’t mean wins for Rutgers if he can’t defend high screens. I have faith though he will.
So was Hyatt, but I am confident. I am sure Ace is a willing defender because he chose to come here.Ace's reputation is that he's a very good defender
Agreed. This is a good “problem” to have. This is kind of like stressing over performance, anxiety if you’re about to sleep with Mila Kunis. I get it but at the same time wouldn’t we all like to have that kind of stress in our lives.
I am curious of this- if we start to become a 4/5 star 1/2 year and done type of program, can Pike keep his hard defense approach?
They lost in the second round of the NCAA tournament though.
Even though he had made public comments confirming his commitment to us I was a little nervous he never posted anything on his socials but I worry no longer!!!
Greene. With Ace’s off the chart athleticism, do you really question his ability to defend high screens? C’mon!!Don’t tempt me to start one right now!
