Yup. And if he plays bad, no matter how bad he will still be the guy. Frost is not wired psychologically to bench his guy until the season is lost. So let's hope he plays great.

The obvious and best choice to start the season. He's a true "gamer" with big time experience.
We're lucky to have gotten him.
Based on HCSF comment about playing more than one QB, I predict it will be Smothers because of his legs and because Frost and Whipple have seen considerable growth in him as a passer.
Purdy would probably be number two if CT went down, but Logan will be used to show the opposing defenses something different. Could be exciting.
