I've posted this 3 times and no one responds. Northwestern gave up 34 points and 375 yards against Oregon. Is that NIL too?

He is genuinely a BAD football coach who is stuck in 1990s. He's a zilch.

he had one huge win thanks to a roster full of nfl players 19 years ago - and he still needed a penalty on the other team to secure it.

Hes such a fraud and he’s robbing us money,

That's a very fair take.
They also beat Rutgers worse than they beat Montana State- same score differential, but Rutgers gave up 750 yards of offense and put up 10 points. Montana State gave up 506 yards and put up 13 points. Montana State is in the Big Sky conference. And the RU game was away for Oregon.

Montana State is one of the best teams in the FCS and would unironically beat Rutgers if we played them next week so this is not surprising

Why the F did he hire Robb Smith again?
We got stuck finding someone with Harasimiak getting UMASS HC job, and we thought last year's D was bad.. That was largely an injury-decimated D. But that was December 4... took 2 months to find Robb Smith and Zach Sparber.

But is it talent or the co-DCs? I see flaws everywhere. I cannot imagine Schiano is happy with the D. I cannot imagine he'd allow poor coaching of DBs.. I cannot imagine he'd want the LBs to.. well, what are they doing? They look lost so many times. I lean toward it being talent mostly.. Schiano's best Ds had years of training in his system. Just like Pike's in BBALL. I do not know we will ever have that on the roster again.. not until all this NIL and easy transfer stuff settles down into recognizable patterns.

Northwestern has money. They are building a new stadium.. they have a new fieldhouse. They are a private U so we have no idea how much they spend on NIL.. or coaches for that matter.

We were not going to win this game. What do the yards matter now?

We gave up 54 in a loss to Navy in 2004 and beat them the next year.
In 2005 we gave up 56 to Louisville and beat them the next year.

Forget it. It is over.

Bring on Purdue!

He’s only a zilch because there’s nothing lower. Or is there?

After the game, did he brag about the resilience of the team, outscoring UO 7-0 at the end?

It repulses Shelby seeing the Grifter Nobody walk out of the tunnel at the beginning of the game, hands in pocket acting tough and cool like Kojak.

Reality is, he’s a pompous football bum.

It was ANOTHER night where the stadium was full. Fans hearts and wallets fully ready to be turned Scarlet. Thousands of fans on the train from NYC in town, tens thousands more back for first time in years on homecoming.

And Ru throws up another disgusting dud to deject any possible even baby step of growth. Another large step backwards. Another generation of fans talking about “I don’t think Rutgers will ever compete in the big ten”.

so. F’n. Frustrating

The whole production thing is getting old when the team falls flat on its face by the end of the first quarter under the lights

Program has lost almost every chance its had to elevate themselves...for most its same Ole rutgers

You all know I try not to overreact- but yesterday was worse than the score.

Greg folded up the playbook before the end of the half. His only goal was to keep his defense off the field.
And that was the most embarrassing thing. He just stopped coaching and shut down all will to fight.
Find me any other team who is down by 30+ at the half and just never throws the ball again.
I lost all respect for coach on this one. I would rather lose 80-3 and be throwing the ball 50+ times to at least try than what he did yesterday.
It was so bad that Oregon knew he gave up and called a TO with 12 seconds in the half to try to run through us again. BTW- very ****** move by them.
