Totally agree this team lacks high level talent so it sounds like im coming off harsh towards lanie but in reality this is more towards people hyping her up. We need more wing players feels like we have to many PGs we need a stud center and shooting guard
Have to admit it's been a long drought since UNC last had someone drafted in the WNBA. You are correct in needing that one or two superstars that carry a team when needed. Hopefully with additional exposure and budget we can obtain these type players. It was an interesting article from CB on how hard she tried to get Sarah Strong to UNC, it shows that CB is relentless on getting players who she wants.

No one claimed she was an elite player. A poster dragged her game and said she needed to be recruited over in the portal.
My opinion has been consistent: we have the space and likely the money for one elite player. Go get the best available, regardless of position.

Posting that we have room for improvement at every position is patently obvious and saying we should pursue that is unrealistic. Priorities.

I think Kate H is going to be a great college player and beyond. Nyla B has AA potential. EA, LG,
RK, TH all have All ACC potential. To me we simply need a really good 5 to go with what we have.
I would love to have WNBA types at every position but very few teams outside of UCONN has that.

Nyla need to work on her handle
Nyla has made huge strides in rebounding and defense this year. Next season i expect she will work on
her handle, shot selection and as every player should always work on zeroing in her shots.
If Nyla stays on course/healthy she will be a WNBA players one day.

We just need to have at least 2 WNBA talent on our team. We all saw how far HH got ND in the tournament with at least one WNBA talent on the team this year. The got to the Elite 8. If you go back and look at the 2013 team we had 3 WNBA talent on that team and we got to the Elite 8. That team might have made to the final four that year if we did not have to play Stanford at Stanford in the Elite 8 game. We were winning until the fourth quarter and that is when the referees starting making bad calls during the 4th quarter on us. That was when DD, AG, SM were freshman and that team had to play Stanford at Stanford in the elite 8 which to this day, I cannot figure out why that game was not played on a natural site instead of at Stanford on their home court. That was when Stanford had Chiney Ogwumike and company.
Please remember that on the 2013 team those three WNBA talented players were all freshman and they made it to the Elite 8. They were playing against a senior lead AA, Chiney O and company and they had to play them on their home court. They almost beat them if the referees would not have got involved.
I think LG saw the writing on the wall. As I stated before, Kate is coming here to start. The article stated that LG after she became a target of everyone's scouting report had problems getting her shot off during the second half of the season. With that being said, I will have to agree with tarboy about EA.
