7 years ago today Rutgers played Army in Giants Stadium and the life of Eric LeGrand was changed forever.

I continue to hope and pray that one day we all get to go back to Giants Stadium and watch him fulfil his wish to get up from that spot and walk away.

I love Eric LeGrand. To say he is an inspiration is an understatement. When I'm having a crappy day, I think of LeGrand... what he's gone through... how he handles adversity with a smile on his face. He is a rare man.

The "Believe" jersey Patrick Kivlehan wore to honor LeGrand during Players Weekend (Aug. 25-27) was delivered last week. I won it in a MLB charity auction. It's now one of my prized possessions. Here's a video of Kivlehan stroking a two-run double wearing the jersey...
