He has already done so much to help others. Hopefully science and technology will get to the point that he will be able to walk again.

I remember being there, in a section near that play, all too well. Sad day. But Eric has been an inspiration ever since!

If anyone has ever handled a tragic life event with more style, strength, and courage I've yet to see it. -His depth of character is something you truly have to see to bELieve.

Keep fighting the good fight, Eric. We all know that one day you will achieve your goal and walk again!

I love Eric LeGrand. To say he is an inspiration is an understatement. When I'm having a crappy day, I think of LeGrand... what he's gone through... how he handles adversity with a smile on his face. He is a rare man.

The "Believe" jersey Patrick Kivlehan wore to honor LeGrand during Players Weekend (Aug. 25-27) was delivered last week. I won it in a MLB charity auction. It's now one of my prized possessions. Here's a video of Kivlehan stroking a two-run double wearing the jersey...

I was there that day as well. I will remember it till the day I die. We may not talk about it everyday any longer, but that doesn’t mean we don’t think of Eric everyday. Keep up the good fight. We love you and are pulling for you.
