Is there still preseason stuff in Kenpom? I know it probably makes it more predictively accurate but it's annoying.

Rutgers will finish between 1st and 4th in the conference. They have already played against the toughest 3 opponents in the conference on the road, with two of those three losses being close. Unless they get riddled with injuries, they are safely in the tournament. The question is how high will their seed be.

Not a big fan of absolute statements. Things can go sideways quickly. We could finished in 1st or (where we were picked) 12th. Odds are closer to 1st than 12th. But gotta play the games first. Can't count any game as a win until we earn it on the court.

Nice attempt to jinx. We have 13 wins in the eyes of the committee. Need quite a few more.

There is no evidence right now that Rutgers will finish in the top 4 league positions . There still are twelve games remaining where parity dominates and Rutgers will be the underdog in every remaining road game.Every remaining home game is super important to win.

It's 29 on Ken Pom. Defense efficiency down to 12th from 9th, offense efficiency down to 83rd from 79th. Just have to right the ship we'll go back up.

So we go 1-1 this week losing to a ranked team and beating N.

Do we fall out of the AP top 25?

Not sure how all the algorithms work but not a terrible day. BART moves down a bit but Kenpom went down to 31 at one point but seems to be ending the night at 27

NET will update tomorrow.

As they say, “we control our own destiny”

Lsu is headed in. The AZ loss takes them out i think. Memphis and prolly Tex Tech go out. 3 schools for 2 spots...RU, Wichita St, and Indiana should they beat Maryland

Stanford has a chance to hurdle a lot if teams tonight in the receiving votes group. Indiana likely jumps way up with a potential sweep of MSU and MD.

If that happens, it will bring the Kenpom and other ratings for RU higher and I think stay in the 24 to 25 range.

I'll come back to this thread on Sunday. 15 March around 7:00 PM.
That's all I'm concerned about.

Updated going into tonight’s action
Love the thread and updates. Minor suggestion: since the thread title changes don't get captured on this site (they used to), you might want to consider posting the updated thread titles in the actual latest posts in the thread, so there's a record of the evolution of the rankings. Makes it more interesting to look back through, especially if people start arguing about what ranking we were on x date. It's annoying that the thread titles aren't retained after editing (I edit thread titles regularly in my weather threads, so now I sometimes add extra info to the latest post).

Stanford loss Sunday to Cal (Go Bears!) did not help them.
