It’s just a footnote now, but anyone have a clue how Snyder was called for that caution and 1 at the end of bout 2? You can’t turn down when a guy has your leg now? I want someone to make sense of that one.

A guy on the Scramble (Facebook) claiming to be a Freestyle referee said that he was called for diving away from Buchanan when he was engaged in a shot. He said it is the correct call by the book, but, most refs don't call it correctly. I watched it again, and I still, respectfully, disagree.

Marstellar's rib always hurt worse after he got taken down. Lol. Gotta give him credit though, there was something going on there...and he sucked it up.

I have to say, thank you very much for your posting. Currently in bed at home after getting absolutely trampled by a Draft yesterday. 2 broken ribs, but I'm good. Fking cats! Spooked my horse yesterday.

I don't think it was mentioned, but Spencer Lee looked dazed after the second match - walked to the wrong corner and almost walked off the raised mat area. Then he collapsed onto the mat and it took a while to get him back to his feet. Scary.

Just catching up as I have young nephews in the country so I took them to an amusement park.

Couple of thoughts on watching. The officiating was an embarrassment again. Get one competent official and have them do every match. I few have no idea what the hell they are doing.

Thank God for the ability to mute as Burroughs is simply insufferable.

That could definitely be a problem moving forward. Looked like a Kasak situation. Luke may have to step in. Will see….

I gotta say I feel for Chance. I have so much respect for what he has gone through and what he persevered through to where he is a as person now. Kudos to him. I hope he continues on his current path and stays clean and positive. Levi is a beast and beating Chance is a tall task. Kudos to him as well. I will always root for Chance except when against a PSU guy.

He wasn't healthy coming in either which sucks . It wouldn't change anything in my mind but wish he was 100% like you said he's been thru so much he's a champion regardless. Levi looks like he can win 79kg

Marcus out talents and bonuses most everybody he wrestles. Against guys who wrestle at his own elite level he wrestles with a plan to win a close match, you disagree with that thought process and you somehow believe you are the smart one. Typical. The dumbest phuck in the room tends to know it the loudest.
You guys are arguing back with facts. He is just arguing. Let his "brilliance" just die unattended on the vine.

Brooks is in the room with all of these guys.
Is this true? I know when suspended there are strict rules about who, where, and when you can be on the mats and in the room. I found this online

The rules of the WADA Prohibited List and anti-doping policies prohibit suspended athletes from training in any capacity with club teams, coaches, or partners on Team USA.

I just rewatched match 3 of Blaze vs Jax and Blaze only giving up 1 in that first exchange was massive. Jax had the cradle completely locked up. Against most guys that is at least 2 and often times a fall. Just giving up a stepout was incredible defense and mat awareness from Marcus

Great point. For those who complain about Marcus not taking more shots against Jax, that sequence was a great illustration of how dangerous Jax's counter game is. At this level, especially against someone as funky and talented as Jax, caution is warranted. Marcus taking three of the last four matches against Jax is very impressive. I can't help but believe that getting to regularly train with Ono has really benefited Marcus.
