If the announcer was the one saying "What the F**K" into an open mic at 3:37 of the Welker match.....he may have gotten fired. I love FLO

Bo's handfight and pace are unreal. During the 1st period of match 1, it looked like Real's strength was going to be too much for Bo to overwhelm. But, absolutely nothing knocks Bo off of keeping to his strategy. You counter him for a takedown? No big deal, he keeps coming at you. And eventually, he just breaks you. He broke the reigning world Bronze. If they let that match keep going, Bo would have won by 100!
Sorry for no pbp. I thought it was FLO as usual but was 100% wrong. It was an issue on my end with the interwebs but got it fixed this morning.
Well, there was that annoying social media thing. Bo was earning money but he shouldn't do that, it was annoying. Two things certain to generate an uproar from certain people. Somebody standing on their lawn and young people earning more money than they do.
Why does anyone care what Bo does what's good for him? If you are, you must be annoyed with some athletes doing the NIL as well then.
The sarcasm was me implying i found Bo's social media routine irritating. When I say the two types of people annoyed by Bo's social media are the same people that will yell "get off my lawn", and those who will think it is BS for a young whippersnapper to earn significant money using new tools that the angry adult doesn't understand, then i am not using sarcasm.
As far as Bo not being at PSU, the staff thought he was coming to PSU. Then after PSU face stomped Iowa he was off to Iowa with a life altering financial offer. When both sides figured out that wasn't going to work Bo's recruiting was reopened. Bo was more than welcome to join PSU, and if he had accepted the original offer he would be a Lion. Somebody in the Bassett camp thought they could entice the PSU staff into a bidding war. PSU wasn't interested. A plan being the plan and all.
Penn State fans knew deep down it was a long shot for Bo to ever come here. There were so many times when it looked obvious and it was clear he and/or his family were looking for any reason to not. Reality is I really think the family didn’t want Bo to be labeled a front runner. I’m pretty sure Oklahoma State stopped being an option once it was clear Jax was going there and he was clearly going to be the face of that team.
I reported last summer it was a done deal but once again, something changed behind the scenes. I can’t find it but someone posted a leaked commitment edit of Bo in a PSU singlet that our graphics department creates, which they only do when there is a verbal behind the scenes.

In answer to Mr. Wright above: no, Bassett cannot match Elor's 2022 performance because she won U20, U23 and senior gold in 2022. He's too old for that accomplishment.

This sums it up what happened perfectly.
@jsn4388 - the PSU staff would have welcomed him, but in the context of their plan for the entire program, not a "one-off" for Bo's camp. I think most fans on this board are in agreement with this approach.
I think the staff has pretty much earned trust on "the plan," don't you, given the success? After all, 9 short years ago we lost the greatest wrestler that has ever lived and ever will be and the dynasty survived somehow, didn't it? That we have yet another greatest wrestler that has ever lived and ever will be going somewhere else but PSU seems fitting (and clearly paradoxical, but I guess the big man upstairs had so much fun making the most perfect wrestler the first time, he just had to do it again - just this once).

I trust Cael's plan and more. But my contention is with the spoiled fanbase in thinking Penn State is too good for this top recruit or that top recruit because of the certain things they don't like. No, I am not talking about troubled kids like the Farari kids. That was the whole point of discussion last year. You don't think Bo saw some of the those negative messages from this site? I betcha he did. But like Iowa and Oklahoma State, Penn State will not sit on top of the hill forever. I still can't believe we didn't get any of the McCort's 3 top recruits who are in our backyard. I wonder if that was a coincident. Hmmm.
