Haven't seen much, if any, chatter on the Iowa high schoolers of 2028, but Braylyn Birmingham of Norwalk is a baller.

5'11" guard that generally plays point, but is a bit on the skinny side.
Excellent 3 pt shooter that drives the lane as well.
I suspect she will be a top 3 scorer in Iowa this year regardless of age/class.
BTW: Norwalk exclusively plays a 4A/5A schedule, so not padding stats against chumps.

Someone posted last week that the player Jensen was watching (talking to?) when she went to Atlanta, is '28 PG Leah Dewitt. Her early highlights are top shelf, so I hope they get her on campus for a visit at some point. Follow a Georgia PG with another Georgia PG? Well, hoping anyway.

My way too early wish list for 2028 is Chloe Johnson and Ari Peterson and Riak but I would be happy with any of them. Ari is Adrian Petersons daughter and dunked in a workout in 2024 and she's #25 in the class while Chloe is #3.
I’m not sure if Iowa has ever had a raw athlete like that before in any sport..

I don't know if we have a 2029 recruiting thread started, but it will be interesting if Callin Levin's little sister announces something really early in her high school career, similar to what Callie did.

Her sister is a freshman at Solon, listed at 6'0", with pretty decent stats.
Listing her at 6' means she's probably closer to 5'11" and it looks like she's playing inside as Solon isn't a big team.

Was in Quincy last fall for a funeral. Two hours from Iowa City. Great old river town with a lot of history. The sixth debate between Lincoln and Douglas for the Illinois Senate seat took place in Washington Park.

Hope Khloe had a great visit. Michael Payne was from Quincy. He and Greg Stokes from Hamilton, OH were quite the twin towers for the Hawks.

I read there is still a Maid Rite in Quincy.

Road trip!
