Wonder if Landon Blum will go to PSU or maybe give. Hawks a look.
Maybe Slagles family would prefer he stays close to home?
Hawkeyes need to take advantage of instability at ISU and elsewhere

His dad and uncle played for ISU…guessing he sticks there.

Blum has been to Iowa multiple times, kid has a great ability to high point the ball, but I do wonder if Iowa lands Dejean if they move on at the TE position, that spot currently has a ton of depth.
Given what Slagle has said about Matt Campbell, I would not be surprised if he rolls out to PSU.

I do wonder if Iowa will end up offering Tate Wallace from Regina, it would be great to nab both teammates in Miller and Wallace, both play physical ball.

Miller is a human fumbling machine.

Watched Regina's state game...had an actual fumble and about three "juggles".
You hold your breath every time he touched the ball.
According to the 24/7 site, doesn't have an offer?

With Iowa's OL success if He wants to stay close to home it is a no brainer where to go, If He committed to the Coach he will go to PSU

This young man lives near where I live, and I have seen him play numerous times. He would be a great addition to the Hawkeyes. Most players from around here tend to end up in SEC country, so I have no idea what kind of chance Iowa has here, but if I learn something, I will report back.

Looks like he was destined for Ole Miss....maybe his thinking has changed with kiffin leaving?

I assume you talking about Dent? You might be right, as that had been his best offer. But I had not heard anything about it, and I hang around with some guys who follow his high school team pretty closely.

It looks like the QB from Omaha, Braylon Warren committed to Mizzou. Bummer I know the staff invested a lot of time with him. Better to find out now I suppose.

Former Regina RB is headed to City High. This is a great move, and he's been in for visits to Iowa prior. Interested to see if he lands an offer

I hope he does stay close to home but in that case ISCC may be back in the hunt for his services

Pretty solid group visiting this weekend

4* Mason Mcdermott (OT) out of Indiana, he's been to Iowa multiple times, tough going up against the defending national champs though.

4* Gavin Stecker (commit)
3* Mason Halliman (OT) (kid has a solid offer list already)
Jack Thies (S)
Brendan Meaney (OT) (5* name for sure)
Nate Brenneman (another solid offer list)
Darrell Mattison (a holy **** level offer list)

KF is in on a lot of good players, my Twitter feed is getting overwhelmed with Iowa recruiting.

Abrams is a 6-foot-4, 187-pound quarterback prospect from Montini Catholic High School. He's currently the 22nd-best prospect in the entire country for the 2027 class, according to 247Sports. Per 247Sports, Abrams is the second-ranked quarterback in the class and the highest-ranked player from the state of Illinois. With those rankings, it's no surprise to see that Abrams is a highly coveted talent in this cycle.

Abrams currently holds offers from 19 programs, including Auburn, Indiana, Ole Miss, Tennessee, and more big-name schools. A lot of programs got in on Abrams following his insane junior season. In 2025, he led Montini Catholic to a perfect 14-0 season with some eye-popping stats. He completed 68.5% of his passes for 4,072 yards and had a 40-to-6 touchdown-to-interception ratio. Abrams also ran for 224 yards and 10 scores.

Abrams is one of the best players in his recruiting class, and it's good to see Kirk Ferentz, Lester, and the rest of the staff in on his recruitment. He could be a program-altering talent if the Hawkeyes were able to land him for their 2027 class.
