Dean 18-1 tech. The other guy tried an Oliver Twist twice but Dean just calmly sat on it.
Fish was definitely more active he just couldn't get through the guys defense. got a little out of position and almost got on his back. Good match
What does everyone think about that Brands went with Kennedy over his son. I assume that Kennedy won ranking matches but who knows?
I like criticizing Brands. That just shows his lack of family loyalty. I am sure Brands did what was best for his team.
Iowa isn't even on the leaderboard right now. I know that can change, especially this early, but....DAMN!
It appears that Pinto from Nebraska lost his first round match. It was to a guy from Army.
I think the Teemer loss for Iowa is pretty devastating. I knew he was battling injury problems.
ISU is having a terrible tournament till now, Paniro, Bockman both lost to lower ranked guys.
184 - Plott with an 18-1 3rd period TF.
Surber up 7-2, gives up his leg and then dives onto his back and nearly gets pinned. Honestly felt like the ref could've called it down 10-7 in the 3rd
Luke with a total choke to an inferior wrestler. looked totally gassed.
He needs to step it up or he will be the second OSU wrestler with 4 NCAA appearances and no AA.

What the **** did I just watch?
197 - Surber gets embarrassed after leading 7-2 and drops an 18-7 MD.

He should've majored that guy. Instead gets majored.
Death. Taxes. Surbering. Don’t understand what gets in his head when he gets to NCAAs. Fantastic representative of OSU as a dude, but holy hell.
You are right Number 9 pitiful match with Surber stumbling around like he has no clue how to wrestle. Why would he gas like that?
Doesn't look like Pinrickson's mat has been assigned yet. We need to finish with an early dominating pin.
Surber looked great 1st period. After that he looked gassed and wrestled terrible. Took several forced sloppy shots first 30 min of the 3rd, could of been more patient and got deep to his legs, but lost a scramble and just gave up.
Luke didn't look right at all, who knows he could be sick or something. That was the worst he's wrestled all year
Anyone else a little worried that whatever happened to Hendrickson’s arm in the Big 12 finals is going to hamper his effectiveness at NCAAs?
Think there is a big case to be made to be wary of putting too much hope in guys who have been in the program five years and not done much at Nationals.
Got a lot of grief for not being fired up with Witcraft and Surber’s potential to score points this year. Not trying to pat myself on the back, because this sucks, but I think for most guys they are who they are by this point in their career.
