Dean 18-1 tech. The other guy tried an Oliver Twist twice but Dean just calmly sat on it.
Fish was definitely more active he just couldn't get through the guys defense. got a little out of position and almost got on his back. Good match
What does everyone think about that Brands went with Kennedy over his son. I assume that Kennedy won ranking matches but who knows?
I like criticizing Brands. That just shows his lack of family loyalty. I am sure Brands did what was best for his team.

I think the Teemer loss for Iowa is pretty devastating. I knew he was battling injury problems.
ISU is having a terrible tournament till now, Paniro, Bockman both lost to lower ranked guys.

You are right Number 9 pitiful match with Surber stumbling around like he has no clue how to wrestle. Why would he gas like that?

Surber looked great 1st period. After that he looked gassed and wrestled terrible. Took several forced sloppy shots first 30 min of the 3rd, could of been more patient and got deep to his legs, but lost a scramble and just gave up.
Luke didn't look right at all, who knows he could be sick or something. That was the worst he's wrestled all year

Think there is a big case to be made to be wary of putting too much hope in guys who have been in the program five years and not done much at Nationals.
Got a lot of grief for not being fired up with Witcraft and Surber’s potential to score points this year. Not trying to pat myself on the back, because this sucks, but I think for most guys they are who they are by this point in their career.
