Maybe. If you follow Vic, then you know he uses a lot of sarcasm in his public comments. I think this was as much a joke as him offering insight.
I’m glad he’s coming back. The odds were long that they could effectively replace him via the draft or some patchwork combo of journeyman TEs.![]()
Eagles, Dallas Goedert agree to new contract
The tight end will remain for his ninth season in Philadelphia.www.nbcsports.com
for a 30 yo TE with an injury history? IDK maybeI’m glad he’s coming back. The odds were long that they could effectively replace him via the draft or some patchwork combo of journeyman TEs.
Edit: I just saw that Goedert’s deal is one year at $7 million. Wow. I’d have bet the ranch his free agent market would be considerably more than that.

Great move for a #3 WR. Brown is a big deep threat too, which plays to one of Hurts’ strengths.
will Hollywood make AJ seem 'normal'?Great move for a #3 WR. Brown is a big deep threat too, which plays to one of Hurts’ strengths.
You don’t sign Brown for one year at and $6 million to replace AJ Brown.

I think Mannion’s new system is a huge part of the formula this fall. It doesn’t take much imagining to see an offense where the route tree and pre-snap motion spring guys open all over the place.yeah i initially was curious as to what this was all about. However, listening to the Eagle Eye podcast, Zangaro mentioned how the last time the offense was really dynamic (now I understand this could be the OC, health.... a lot of factors) was in '22 when they had Quez (a "burner") at WR3. i was initially curious as to how a speed guy at WR3 would be beneficial because I was under the impression that you use a shifty Dotson/Zaccheaus/Covey kind of middle route runner. but i can dig this, SO LONG AS THERE'S NO TOM FOOLERY
Hearing eagles traded for the Red Rifle.

Sources: Eagles trade 2027 pick for Panthers QB Andy Dalton
The Panthers are trading veteran quarterback Andy Dalton to the Eagles in exchange for a 2027 seventh-round pick, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.www.espn.com
After that Commanders game, I'd be glad if they could get a cup of soda for him.So it stands to reason that Howie will move Tanner McKee. If they can get a 2/3 for him, then that’s good business.
I can't say I'm sad to see him go. One of the poorer draft picks in recent years. Ji'Ayir Brown went in the same round of the same draft, and would have been a much better pick, IMHO.
