Desire to excel no fear of failure.

Nothing wrong with expecting greatness. Worst case is failure? No fear. Go Big... Red!

NFL First rounder Tanner Lee is on line 1...
Tanner had never played a snap for NU. He was taking over an outdated system for a staff that had never won!

Adrian has played for NU and shown major talent. He's in a system that has produced a Heisman notable and a Heisman winning QB. His staff has won big.

Please explain your comparison.

The issue is not with Tanner or Adrian's talent and opportunities....my issue is with the media types selling clicks and rags to a koolaid drinking Husker fanbase every Pre-season and then not eating crow when it doesn't come true.

I get your point about the media preying on our fanbase. With that being said, the Pre-season is about predictions.

Tanner didn't live up to the hype but It'd be foolish to think that Adrian can't because the last QB couldn't. Also it'd be foolish for the national media to not write about a talented QB of a team that's likely set for a major turn around, right???

Did you read the article?

It's premise was to gloat over the freshman recruits. My issue is it threw in an unneeded title of "Heisman Candidate" as an extra cup of sugar in the pitcher.

I suggest you read everything in this thread again, including the article, before another response so you don't continue your buffoon-like posts.

Buffoon-like post... same team my man!!!

I read the OP's post but I replied specifically to your post. I may be missing your point all together but it seems you just don't want the fanbase to have overly high expectations, just to potentially be let down. If that's your point then it's understandable.

In response, my point is Adrian may or may not live up to the hype but there is some logic behind why we're hearing potential Heisman this summer.
