The best thing about Mt Airy not getting to the second round will be that I, and other Bear Fans, will get to go see teams with real athletes with real speed playing each other!

I know MHU beat Va Wise this weekend. Two of my children just graduated from MHU in the last 2 years and both were on the track team. Are you calling me a liar over College games I’ve attended ? In previous posts you have mentioned going to college games and if memory serves me right you go to Lenior Rhyne often. The point is who cares !! Until then, keep talking speed and keep exiting the playoffs early.I kind of agree with your general point but you're barking up the wrong tree in regards to Mount Airy. As much as some of their fanbase is annoying as hell, fact is they've pretty well proven themselves against mountain teams over the years, they have a winning overall record against the SMC. MA has the right mix of skill speed and physicality in the trenches a lot of times, you have to have both.

You might want to check the books seeing as MA sent Murphy back home with an L in the record book just 4-5 years ago. Sent Swain packing also recently. Starmount has sent a few home as well notably Swain and last year Andrews. EW sent a tough Swain home a few years back.
That’s not a consistent basis. Also sending swain home in recent years is no major accomplishment as they’ve had some of their worst years the past 5-6 years.
Bored at work so I looked at Max Preps, they seem pretty consistent recently against SMC. 6-2 since 2005. That's as far back as it goes.

Sorry not....... I mean punch mouth football it won't be Mitchell the first game was just a clinic with Draughn.......Draughn got athletes all over the field. They will run and throw at will.......All Mitchell as is QB and Gianrussco kid. They couldn't stop Dula 213 yds on 23 carriers in 3 qtrs. and 5 TD. Then the passing is a joke.......like pros against h.s. kids.
