Per JoelTColeman (woo..), if we go 6-6 over those 12 games, it'll be only the 2nd time in program history we've won 10 or more SEC games in three consecutive seasons.
I'm not seeing six conference wins left on the schedule. 7 of our last 11 are on the road, and the majority are against teams that are flat out better than us or have already beaten us. I think we'll beat Iowa State who is atrocious and then win 2-4 more league games but that's about it.
The NCAA bubble talk can just go ahead and stop. We don't even have an NIT resume right now. The most optimistic predictions only put us at about 17-10, and that seems very unlikely with a team this inconsistent. You're probably looking at a team that will finish with 13 to 15 wins, hover right around .500 overall, miss out on the NIT.
We can talk about how we'll likely finish higher than 12th place like we were predicted to (Yay? Hang a banner?), but the fact of the matter is we've played the easiest part of our schedule and barely scratched .500 out of it. If we wanted to be in any kind of contention for the postseason we needed to be 6-1 at worst, which we were more than capable of doing. But you know, Ben Howland and such.
